Mal
Mostly visual fluff but maybe some hints of the gameplay aspects. Some first person movement but mostly stationary... I'm thinking light gun like rails? I'll try to dig some more info but: Release March 2020.
toxicitizen
Hints? There's clearly gameplay footage in there. And it looks so fucking gooooood! Also, it's not limited to one particular VR style, you can play standing, sitting, teleport or joystick movement, etc... Some more details about how it came to be and next year Geoff will be doing another Final Hours thing that goes more into what Valve has been doing the past few years. Mal
Well I say hints because of bullshots. Years of bullshots make you wary of trailers no matter where it comes from. But yeah, having the ability to play how you want is big. And knowing the interactivity of past Valve games... It'll be glorious.

It's always been more on the big publisher side of things.
TheMightyEthan
Fuuuuuuuuuck, I'm gonna have to get a VR headset aren't I....
toxicitizen
Announcement is from last week but I only got around to looking into it just now. New DJMAX game coming to Steam. Didn't pay much attention to it at the time because wtf is that trailer but it's actually a rhythm game. Looks fairly standard but could be fun and god knows Steam is sorely lacking in the rhythm games department. Let's just hope it's not a region locked release because otherwise it'll be back to waiting for Sega to port one of the Hatsune Miku games... toxicitizen
That Resistance co-op game being included with it is a nice twist. Means I'll be much more willing to give it a chance, although hopefully its inclusion is not indicative of the campaign being shorter. Also, April 3rd is WAY sooner than I would've expected. They usually do E3 announcements -> January/February release, so usually 6 months or more between reveal and launch. I wonder why they didn't just announce it at E3 as usual. Mal
A few trailers are dropping so I'll be updating. First off... Cool but narratively, I'm not sure if this was needed? Why are we back with Senua? Why is this a franchise? New cast of character in line of how Final Fantasy did it. With this coming, I expect the first two games to make the move too... god, so many games on the Switch... TheMightyEthan
I agree RE: Hellblade, this was not needed, and should not exist. Certainly not with Senua as the character.
Mal
We all will be able to judge if Hellblade is really being milked without getting the Xsex (NOT XBOX).

Mal
No spoilers since these guys just kind of come out of nowhere and seems to be their own entirely separate thing. Though... Spoiler Maybe it'll be revealed that they're Mole People that join the outside world instead of being edgelords deep underground. Maybe I should really finish up Black Eagles routes but I got to say Edelgard did everything wrong.

danielpholt
Annapurna can do no wrong at the moment, and I'm a massive fan of the tiny/huge puzzle thing they've got going on in the trailer.
Mal
Remaster! Interesting that there is no in-game stuff yet which makes me wonder if they are completely redoing the combat to mirror that of Automata. It'll be localized as well. MetalCaveman
So, the Xbox thing happened, I kinda forgot about it, catching up now. This one looks cool, concept is interesting, and enemies look weird, keeping an eye on it for now. Also reminds me of Psi-ops The Mindgate Conspiracy, will the telekinesis stuff. I am a fan of spaceship combat, so this one caught my attention, although from what was shown it looks a bit cramped, much more linear than I expected, still, interested to see where it goes. Not a big horror game fan, but that soundtrack was pretty cool, and that bit at the end of the trailer, with the thing in the background, yeah, that got my attention. This has been in development for some time now, seems like it's finally coming out. No gameplay or anything, but the aesthetic of it is enough to make it stand out. There were some others, but these were the highlights for me.
TheMightyEthan
I completely forgot about that conference. Looks like nothing terribly exciting, which doesn't bode well for them.
