TheFlyingGerbil
SkySaga looks interesting. It's a free to play game where you "minecraft" your homeworld which has a portal to a procedurally generated adventure world where you may visit a village, a castle or a dungeon etc. It's a free to play game developed by the Oliver brothers who are/were famous British developers and backed by Smilegate a successful Korean company whose main game, Crossfire rakes in $1bn a year. You can register your interest in the alpha on their website and there is an article about it here that compares it to Minecraft, Zelda and Journey.

Mal
I never played any of them but I will welcome it. It's a series that I want to take a look at. Also what you did can't be as bad as me and Shadow of Mordor. I just got burnt out... Apparently this will cross-platform play between the PS4 and PC. Microsoft, get on the ball. Other than that, I guess it is time for a new Street Fighter? Also we're gonna need more trailers up in here.

Playstation and PC players have been able to mingle for some time now. Just look at FFXIV there are 2 Playstation consoles and PC playing together. Mal
Out in May or so. Standalone DLC. I'm looking forward to get a better taste of 1946. It was just far too short in TNO. And in The Old Blood, it seems like they fully embraced the silliness of the whole thing.
Mister Jack
You know, as much people are getting fed up with DLC lately (and for good reason), I feel like this is the right way to do it. After you make a game, don't just try to squeeze a season pass out of people who bought the disc. Use the assets you already have to make something new that's standalone. Everyone wins in that scenario. You don't have to spend as much on development, people who liked the original game get to have more of it, and people who never bought the original game can still try out the new one without having to own the old one first. If you think about it, Majora's Mask was the same way when you compare it to Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask turned out to be my favorite Zelda game.
TheMightyEthan
Freedom Cry is another good example, or Blood Dragon. Wait a tick... does that mean Ubisoft actually does something good?!

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Anyway, that Wolfenstein DLC looks great! I'm generally not crazy about stuff being standalone but whatever, not a big deal. Mal
Rumors has it that it will be priced at or around $20. If they keep the quality up, I can throw that money at them even if I get ~2 hours of fresh stuff. Add in the higher difficulties and dicking around, maybe I'll get 5 hours? All good. Edit: There really needs to be a sequel with Frau Bitch as the main protagonist. Edited March 4, 2015 by MaliciousH

TheFlyingGerbil
Is this different to the game from the PS4 launch, I thought in that one you could be different animals, but it looks kind of similar... Also, this works with Morpheus. Shame there's going to be several different competing VR systems rather than them all conforming to a standard. edit: just looked up that other game i mentioned. It's WiLD: Edited May 12, 2015 by TheFlyingGerbil
TheMightyEthan
Looks cool, hope it's not online only. As far as VR goes, I wish there would be a standard on PC (and I'm sure at some point there will be), but I feel like proprietary ones for console was inevitable.
