There's no topic for this game yet, hmm?

So when AC:B was released I read and saw a couple reviews, and despite it being called Assassins Creed 2.5 I still wanted to get it. So I did, and I'm not regretting it.
I love the fact you can scout for other Assassins and send them out on missions.
I have checked out the multiplayer too, and I'm still getting the hang of it. So far I'm at level 6 or something, and I've only really participated in the Wanted mode. I should check out the Alliance mode. Also I heard two new (free) DLC modes have been added.

What's your take on the game, singleplayer/multiplayer?

Renamed the thread, the lack of an apostrophe was bugging the crap out of me.

Yeah, to anyone who hasn't bought it yet: do so. It's my favorite one of the series so far.

I didn't like the multiplayer much, I thought there were some serious problems with it, but it was promising enough to make me excited to see what they do with it in AC3.

*Edit* - Shameless plug of my review:

I've heard nothing but amazing things about this game and I will get it, but for some reason I'm just not that excited for it. I think it's because they used the same setting and characters. Anyway, I hear the gameplay is even better than last time, so I'm in.

And if anyone wants to add me: my PSN ID is Chrizzle1984. I don't have ACB yet, but I will soon.

(Bags, do you have this game?)

I'd buy it if it were on PC. Goddamn you and your endless PC delays, Ubisoft. And fuck your draconian DRM scheme, too, while I'm at it.

I may rent it over the holidays when I have access to my old 360. Is ten days enough time to play through RDR and AC:B?

Lock yourself up, make sure someone brings you food and drinks, keep an empty bottle next to your seat and you're good to go.

Probably not. Maybe if you do like, nothing else.

*Edit* - Also, I pm'd you rtemplar.

This makes me sad. I have, like, a week of nothing but selfish time. But I have another week of telecommuting and family/friends time.

I guess I'll keep waiting on the PC port, if Ubi ever gets around to it.

I think it's because they used the same setting and characters.

These were my thoughts before getting the game, but that was an unfair thought on my part. It really is enjoyable. Rome is beautiful, Ezio is awesome as always, and... yeah. JUSTBUYITGODDAMMIT.

I didn't think Ezio was all that awesome in the first game, tbh. But I heard he was more of an 'experienced' assassin now, which sounded interesting.

I thought the concept of setting a game during the Renaissance was very original, but I just don't care much for the period. I preferred the setting of the first game (although the game itself sucked ass).

But YESIWILLBUYITGODDAMMIT.
