toxicitizen
I never finished Wild Arms 1 but I found it to be an enjoyable JRPG. You can't really go wrong for 99 cents, honestly.
Strangelove
Were all so pessimistic about the games industry that we really should have a separate thread for non-physical downloaded games. TornadoCreator
Now this was a great buy... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191240282620?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 That's right, an original Xbox with controller, leads, and 4 games for £3.20... almost feels mean.
TheMightyEthan
$30 "like new" on Amazon. From what I've heard about this game I'll probably like it, but it's not quite good enough to justify full price. Got the Xbone version because apparently it has a more stable performance (it's locked to 30 fps, while PS4 is unlocked; I hate it when framerates fluctuate a lot). Scratch that, Amazon seller flaked out on me.

TornadoCreator
Bought 'Jade Empire' and 'GTA: San Andreas' for the Xbox, £5.70 and £9.37 respectively; not bad I say.
toxicitizen
2 for 1 bundle sale on PSN. I've heard really good things about this series and have wanted to try it for a while but 20 bucks a piece seemed a bit much. I would've preferred getting just one to see how I like it first but they don't seem to go on sale very often and I've been waiting for a while so I just went for it. They sound right up my alley, anyway, so I'm not too worried there.
Strangelove
The first one kind of sucked. Supposedly this fixes a lot of the first one's problems.

toxicitizen
Oh man I've been contemplating getting those. Shoulda downloaded them when I had my PSP but I didn't. Well, they're both Vita compatible. I think you own one, right? The bundle itself doesn't show up on the Vita store for some reason but the individual games do. I had to buy the bundle from my PS3 but was able to download the games straight to my Vita.
staySICK
Ah okay. Well, I meant "download" on my PSP and not "purchase" if you're picking up what I'm throwing down here...
TornadoCreator
My copies of 'Jade Empire' and 'GTA: San Andreas' arrived today. Also went a little eBay mad and bought 'Dark Angel' on Xbox and 'Eat Lead: The Return Of Matt Hazard' as they where each only £1.69 with free postage... not bad for a punt. Lastly though, and I'm quite pleased with this one 'Spot Goes To Hollywood' on Sega Saturn for £12.49. Quite a rare find so I snapped it up. An Isometric Platformer, so most people hated it but I loved it. Glad to have it in my collection sure but I'm actually excited to get to replay this gem. Will need to drag out the Saturn at some point though, which means five consoles set up and active.... that feels too many.
Alex Heat
Matt Hazard was a great game and I will knife fight anyone who says otherwise.
TornadoCreator
Matt Hazard was a great game and I will knife fight anyone who says otherwise. I've honestly never heard of it, I bought it entirely on a whim because it was a PS3 game with a "buy it now" of less than £2. Here's hoping it's something I'll enjoy. Mister Jack
Wow, someone on here owns a Saturn. Is that a first?
TornadoCreator
Wow, someone on here owns a Saturn. Is that a first? I love the Saturn, one of my favourite consoles. Some great arcade games like Daytona USA, Fighters Megamix, Titan Wars, NiGHTS and Saturn Bomberman; good platformers like Gex, Rayman, Croc, Spot and Sonic 3D; and it had the first Resident Evil, the first Tomb Raider, Alien Trilogy, and so much more. PSOne may have overtook it in later years but from 1995 to 1996 it was the console to own I say. Plus, it has the best, most comfortable controller ever; especially for 2D fighters which the Saturn was known for.

Eleven
Saw this last year, trailer and a brief gameplay. Bought it as a gift (that I will eventually redeem myself). I was busy then so I wasn't able to play it, but I just redeemed it now. This seems like a really cool game. I love beat 'em ups and that's why I initially bought it. Didn't realize there were skill and levels, and it's fully voiced and all. Pretty great!

Aaaand ordered it again from a different seller, this one with a well-established positive rating (the previous seller had never sold anything on Amazon before). It was even $0.01 cheaper! Yay! TheFlyingGerbil
You live life on the edge ordering from an unknown seller! How does $30 compare to the used price in a game retailer? Is the saving wroth the risk or was it just convenience of buying on line. It reminds me of how on eBay when a seller says "this item is for sale elsewhere and may be withdrawn at any time". If my bid is final why the heck are they allowed to pull out? Makes you wonder if they will just because the price isn't what they're hoping. I'm surprised eBay allows it to be honest. Anyway, the reason I actually came here: Nintendo finally put Earthbound on sale (40% off) I knew if I waited long enough it would happen eventually. TheMightyEthan
That was actually the first time I've ever had a problem with a seller on Amazon. And yeah, considering the closest used game store is an hour drive away buying online is easily worth the convenience. Also Gamestop has used copies listed for $55, so there's that...
