Strangelove
There's a Superhero sale on PSN, so the PS4 version was $10.50. I'm not in love with the Lego games as much as other people are, but thats a damn good price. PS3. I'm one of those people that know MvC1 is a lot better than 2. Strangelove
Yup. Injustice on PS4 is also $8, but I already had it. It's insane. Im glad that we're getting decent sales on retail PS4 games so early.
TCP
What?! PS4 games on sale?!?! EDIT: TASM2 for 36 dollars? Lol ok then. Edited July 22, 2014 by The Cowboy Poet
Eleven
Cool sale! I got Lego Marvel Super Heroes too for the PS4. And also Batman Blackgate for Vita. It's probably worth $4.20.
Mr. GOH!
Preordered Civilization: Beyond Earth for 20% off on green man gaming a few days back.
TornadoCreator
On a whim I set up 50 eBay bids on games, all 99p bids with £2 or less postage. Only won three of them but I got 'Prince Of Persia: The Forgotton Sands', 'Dark Void', and 'Batman: Arkham City' all on PS3; all for a total of £6.
Alex Heat
Dark Void was a pretty alright game, though buggy as shit (at least the 360 version was). Helluva lot of fun to jetpack around and the whole vertical cover thing was kinda neat.
toxicitizen
I was waiting for the PC version but last night I finally said fuck it and decided to just get it off PSN instead. Then today XSEED announced it's coming out on Steam next week. I hadn't bought it yet and considered waiting but my desire to play it on Vita won out over my preference to own things on Steam. I'll probably just double dip the PC version when it goes on sale, like I did with the Ys games.
TornadoCreator
Dark Void was a pretty alright game, though buggy as shit (at least the 360 version was). Helluva lot of fun to jetpack around and the whole vertical cover thing was kinda neat. The way I see it, the game could be a festering pile of crap and it'd still be worth the price I paid for the spare box, in case of future breakages. I've got a scarily fast growing PS3 collection now, about half of which where bought on a whim for under a fiver. If I get more than 2 hours of fun from a game for less than the price of a pint at the pub I don't feel I can reasonably complain. That said, it's made me really struggle to justify any game at release price. It has to be incredible to be worth buying over more than a dozen other games combined. Will let you know what I think of Dark Void though.
staySICK
hopefully it's worth under $30.
madbassman39
Decided to try out Divinity: Original Sin, so I bought it but haven't played it yet. Looking forward to that game based on all of the positive feedback.

danielpholt
Hey this showed up a day early! Score! They're doing the UK-gets-release-4-days-later thing again huh? Wonderful.
TheMightyEthan
Except for Nintendo games NA releases are basically always on a Tuesday, so if the UK release is not on Tuesday then it's either early or late.
TCP
Yeah, movies and music are also released on Tuesday's here in the good old North America. Not sure why, maybe Europe should adapt?
Alex Heat
It's partly because sales charts come out on Mondays (also, it's the first day of the work week) and new movies tend to hit theaters on Fridays (also TGIF) here. Both those days have lower consumer awareness levels. At least, that's what I've been told.

Mal
TitS for PC. You fool. But not like I don't have the PSP version too... and I never played it on the PSP. Edited July 30, 2014 by MaliciousH
toxicitizen
TitS for PC. You fool. But not like I don't have the PSP version too... and I never played it on the PSP. Eh, I preferred playing it on Vita and not having to wait an extra week made up for the 3 bucks I would've saved. And considering the amount of crashes and bugs people are reporting on NeoGAF, I think I made the right call. I'll double dip the Steam version later on, when it's patched up and on sale. But yeah, great game. Been playing it all week and having a blast. Just entered the final dungeon last night so I expect I'll be finishing it today. Oh, and a little warning: the story is kinda "boring". That's not to say that the game itself is, though. It really isn't. But not a whole lot happens for like half the game, it's all about the characters and world-building. It's not your typical "let's go save the world through friendship" JRPG nonsense. TheFlyingGerbil
Bought the extended battery for my game pad. Hopefully the improvements as dramatic as advertised as it's bloomin' expensive for an accessory. nearly as dear as a controller, in fact. Eleven
Usually extra batteries would cause an extra bulk, as you kinda have to work around the limitations of the current hardware's design, but wow those are huge empty spaces! TheFlyingGerbil
it was definitely designed with the bigger battery in mind. there are two separate indents that the different batteries fit in perfectly. It's got the same back panel on and is completely flush with the new battery in. kind of annoying that they didn't just put it in in the first place. I wonder how much the bigger battery would have added to the cost for Nintendo? I'm guessing it wouldn't be the £25 it cost me. It would certainly cost them more (and perhaps they couldn't get them ready in time) so in this case they get the win-win of getting your money because they haven't spent more of theirs in the first place.
