Games You've Bought 2014

I was waiting for the PC version but last night I finally said fuck it and decided to just get it off PSN instead. Then today XSEED announced it's coming out on Steam next week. I hadn't bought it yet and considered waiting but my desire to play it on Vita won out over my preference to own things on Steam. I'll probably just double dip the PC version when it goes on sale, like I did with the Ys games.

Dark Void was a pretty alright game, though buggy as shit (at least the 360 version was).  Helluva lot of fun to jetpack around and the whole vertical cover thing was kinda neat.

The way I see it, the game could be a festering pile of crap and it'd still be worth the price I paid for the spare box, in case of future breakages. I've got a scarily fast growing PS3 collection now, about half of which where bought on a whim for under a fiver.

If I get more than 2 hours of fun from a game for less than the price of a pint at the pub I don't feel I can reasonably complain. That said, it's made me really struggle to justify any game at release price. It has to be incredible to be worth buying over more than a dozen other games combined. Will let you know what I think of Dark Void though.

TitS for PC.

You fool.

But not like I don't have the PSP version too... and I never played it on the PSP.

Eh, I preferred playing it on Vita and not having to wait an extra week made up for the 3 bucks I would've saved. And considering the amount of crashes and bugs people are reporting on NeoGAF, I think I made the right call. I'll double dip the Steam version later on, when it's patched up and on sale.

But yeah, great game. Been playing it all week and having a blast. Just entered the final dungeon last night so I expect I'll be finishing it today. Oh, and a little warning: the story is kinda "boring". That's not to say that the game itself is, though. It really isn't. But not a whole lot happens for like half the game, it's all about the characters and world-building. It's not your typical "let's go save the world through friendship" JRPG nonsense.

it was definitely designed with the bigger battery in mind. there are two separate indents that the different batteries fit in perfectly. It's got the same back panel on and is completely flush with the new battery in. kind of annoying that they didn't just put it in in the first place. I wonder how much the bigger battery would have added to the cost for Nintendo? I'm guessing it wouldn't be the £25 it cost me.

It would certainly cost them more (and perhaps they couldn't get them ready in time) so in this case they get the win-win of getting your money because they haven't spent more of theirs in the first place.
