toxicitizen
I liked the modern day stuff, which made the ending a big let down. Post your thoughts in the Ass Creed thread when you finish, and don't forget to vote in the poll on where you think Assassins Creed 3 should take place..... IT'S ONLY BEEN 3 YEARS, MODS!!!! Oh and do the Homefront missions, they add a lot of perspective and character to Connor. Done! My gut tells me it's gonna be WWII era. Can't wait to find out if I'm right! I love how the thread subtitle is still a reference to Brotherhood. Hanging out in forum chat while playing ACB multiplayer with people from here was pretty damn fun. We also played a lot of Uncharted 2 MP and we were fucking unbeatable. Fun times.
SomTervo
As Cowboy said, if you like the Desmond stuff, you'll just dislike the ending more. The last act rushes the whole thing out and fucks your investment in it. Like i just didnt care because they dont set the stakes up well at all and then it flops out an ending. But imho AC 3 is actually really good. The frontier is fucking amazing. Has the most/deepest (even if confusingly laid out) side content of any AC game. My advice would be to forget about the story for a while like 2/3rds of the way in and work loads on your ranch/trading. TheMightyEthan
Yeah, I loved 3, it was tied with Brotherhood for my favorite until 4 came out.
Hot Heart
So, I managed to win Watch Dogs for cheap on eBay. Also from eBay, got my hands on AC: Black Flag and Need For Speed Rivals. Three PS4 games for a total of around £55. Yay.
Faiblesse Des Sens
That seems really expensive. $5 game, $20 game, $5 game that's priced much higher.
deanb
I assume you're responding to Hot Heart. PS4 titles are around £40 a pop, so he got three games for less than half price, which ain't bad going given console titles tend not to drop in price so quickly. They're certainly never £3(assuming you didn't fuck up with a typo), buying online that'd rarely cover P&P or be worth stocking at a store.
Hot Heart
Oh, darn, I paid in pounds sterling. That's my big mistake! Dean has it right though. None of them are particularly cheap, even pre-owned (which these were but 'Like New'), if bought elsewhere. You're paying around £25-30 for each pre-owned and £40+ for new. Watch Dogs was £16 (not sure if PS-exclusive content and missions code was multi-use but that still worked) AC: Black Flag was £18 Need for Speed Rivals was £21 (went over my £20 limit, but this also included some DLC) Considering the PS4 cost me nothing, I'm very pleased. Hot Heart
Considering the fuck-ups with past AC games on PC and the Need For Speed games, I'd rather avoid the fuss and just play on console. Besides, the performance on PS4 most likely beats my PC anyway which is why I skipped any deals on those games in the first place.

Mr. GOH!
Just ordered one of these puppies: Insanely good value. Holding off on Shadow of Mordor till I get it installed.
TheMightyEthan
So jelly. I'm not getting Shadow of Mordor on launch day because my Walmart doesn't have the preorder cards and I didn't want to pay $7 for release date delivery at Amazon, so it will be arriving sometime later in the week. I'm okay with that though, since Destiny still has its claws firmly in me.
Mr. GOH!
The card is on backorder, so I'm likely delaying playing SoM for weeks. I'm hooked on wasteland 2, so the wait is not a problem. Also, I got the card for around $190 because my credit card allows me to redeem points directly on Amazon orders which is totally boss. Nexus
Destiny and FIFA 15. I skip a FIFA per year so went 11 - 13 - 15. Wanted Destiny. PS4 bundle of the three and the Last of Us Remastered for a decent price, so I bought it. Destiny is amazing.

Mal
I should switch credit card. If I could nab a GTX 970 for around $200 I would be so fucking jelly. I would do both PS4 and the GTX 970 in the same buying period.
Mr. GOH!
Well, I had to spend something like $10k on the card to get $200, to be fair. Edit: Which I did by only using that card to buy stuff, including an engagement ring, for about four months. Just reaping the benefits of my profligacy. Of course, I squandered those benefits on more profligacy. Anyone want to buy a GTX 570 for $50 plus shipping and handling? Edited September 27, 2014 by Mr. GOH! TCP
Well the PSN October deal sucked me in AGAIN. Ethan, if this game sucks I'M HOLDING YOU RESPONSIBLE.

toxicitizen
It seems I've officially run out of fucks to give because I grabbed this last night. Sigh... the things I put up with for my Vita, man. I'm not a fan of that shitty vocaloid music but I do love me some rhythm games and, as it turns out, this one is pretty legit. I've had the demo on my Vita for a couple months now and I just kept going back to it despite it only having three songs available. Some of the songs are catchy in that shitty J-Pop kinda way but man, Persona 4 Dancing All Night seriously can't come soon enough. I want this gameplay but with actually good music!
TCP
FLD: is she your waifu? Ethan: this game is GARBAGE. WHAT THE FUCK, MAN?!?! Actually, this game is pretty awesome, GOH was right.
