deanb
Â First part of video covers some of the costume design. Seems the suit is much brighter IRL than it is on film. *sigh* (latter part is about Dark Knight 3)
TCP
This would be awesome if true. At least the Batman = Deathstroke stuff. The Bizarro Superman part might be a little much. I doubt it though, they take some pretty large leaps in their theory.

deanb
Yeah saw that yesterday, looks kinda fun. Savage looks great. Rory is too Rory for me at the moment, but might come into the role.
deanb
Â What the fuck is up with angry Superman? Snyder has him break Zods neck in the last one then just doubles down on it. Â edit: folks are saying this is a dream sequence. Is Bruce just gonna go out of a shower at the end of the film?
deanb
Â What the fuck are they doing with this movie? "If I wanted it you'd be dead already". This is Superman right? Â edit: oh it also has a major spoiler for the film too. One of which isn't much of a surprise(turns out they become BFFs) but the other on who the ultimate bad is is quite the spoiler...and way too early for him tbh. Â edit2: And if you're not too put off by spoilers, this trailer basically confirms much of a leaked storyline from 5 months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/3c5kmi/potential_spoilers_a_detailed_plot_of_batman_v?sort=top
TCP
Welp, now I'm excited for BvS. -The Wonder Woman reveal was great, too bad they  gave that away in the trailer, I can only imagine how great that would have been to see for the first time in the theatre. -I liked Lex Luthor's energy. -Doomsday. DOOOOOOMSDAY!! -The conversation between Clark and Bruce was great. Also looks like there's some major history with The Joker, could the Jason Todd = New Joker rumours be true? -I don't buy the whole Bizarro Superman stuff, that's just too much for one movie. Then again, this is Snyder, so maybe. It could be the Bizarro Superman is the early version of Doomsday. -There's a lot of stuff going on, I really hope the Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman parts are just one scene each, otherwise this movie is going to be a little all over the place. -Again, that fucking Wonder Woman entrance. deanb
On the Bizarro front, it would seem the rumours are tied in with Doomsday (who you'll note is a sort of clone of Zod. Hence being able to use heat vision). So sort of Doomzarro. Oh folks have also noticed parademons in the background of Batmans desert fight scene, but since this is considered a dream it's unlikely to result in Darksied. Â The leaked plot implies Cyborg is near the end (well, early on for initial intor, but Cyborg himself at the end following the attack), and Flash is mentioned in a "I hear there's a red blur in Central City" kind of way for the following scene. No "oh and a shape shifter ultra cool martian just over the way as well".

deanb
Â Someone re-edited the trailer (with some snippets of previous trailers) which avoids massive spoilers and that weird deadzone near the start with Luthor. Â p.s I love when folks do a good re-edit. Same footage, re-cut leads to different tone and message.
madbassman39
Â New Suicide Squad Trailer... Looks a lot better than I had expected out of it. Edited January 20, 2016 by deanb

deanb
Â Quite brutal. This actually is the better of the trailers. Liking Jeremy Irons. And also holy shit it finally covers why Batman is going after Superman, and makes it look like it's a less than one sided fight. They finally learnt to make trailers it seems. deanb
There's a deleted scene that WB have released that vaguely explains the ending a little more context. Â
Mister Jack
You know you wrote a disjointed mess when you have to start posting deleted scenes just to make sense of the plot.

deanb
New Suicide Squad trailer  Really angling with the whole "Superman will kill us all" angle in the DCCU aren't they.
Mister Jack
Â God, Joker and Deadshot look worse every time I see them. Â After Jesse Eisenberg turned out to be exactly as bad as everyone knew he would be, I have no hope whatsoever that these actors will surprise us like Heath Ledger did.
Thursday Next
I don't get why DC don't get what made Marvel good. You do a bunch of decent films with origin stories, like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, feed in some other characters, sidekicks, villains etc. THEN you do the ensemble film and bring it all together with a bang. Â You don't throw out your good foundation (Nolan Trilogy) and then immediately do an ensemble film where you either assume everyone knows the back stories, or doesn't care. Â Personally, I only really know Joker and Harley. Croc and Deadshot I am peripherally aware of thanks to Arkham games. The others are complete unknowns. So as an ensemble film this does nothing for me, especially after the lacklustre reviews of BvS. Â I get that they don't want to spend the next five years or so grafting to get to where Marvel are, but on their current trajectory they're just never going to get there. Shrug.
deanb
They royally fucked up their original plan for DCCU with the Green Lantern film, so playing a lot of catch up. They did originally go for "Goofy" n it didn't work for them, mainly cos it was wank, ditched it all and playing serious catch-up. I imagine they want to make sure they've the bulk of their films, n the DCCU ball rolling, before Marvel wraps up Phase 3, which starts at the end of this month so they're on a pretty tight schedule. Bummer is in trying to make sure they don't miss the finishing post they might end up putting audiences off the Marvel stuff. Marvel have managed to get Spider-man back under their wings, but Fox royally fucked up the momentum for comic book films with FF, though redeemed with Deadpool. X-Men is upcoming but they've been pretty fine with the Mcavoy-Fassbender stuff, leaving DC as the only major potential fuck-up for Marvels plans. They're on their home strech, but there's still 3 years for DC & WB to set in comic book fatigue through terrible DCCU films. Â I do agree on the origin stuff. While I think it's stupid showing Batman's origin for the umpteenth time(twice in the same movie at that), apart from Joker most of this cast is gonna be new to most cinema goers. Waller* n Harley had a fair bit of face time in the cartoons, and Deadshot n Croc popped up in that and the Arkham games but rest are pretty virgin from the pages of comic books. I think we're gonna get Harley origins, it seems trailers are focusing a chunk on her with her being chased down by Batman n such. I think the rest are likely to not bother apart from names n powers n let the plot do the talking (or the bar scene at least). Or maybe they'll just start the film with Bruce looking through convenient CCTV footage on his computer. Who knows? Â *She's also frequently tied with Cadmus too, which has a habit of attempting to clone Superman or make their own superheroes in some way too which'll likely be referenced to crop up in a later film. While she's likely less known than Joker she's probably in much more shows, films n games than he is. She's great. She's not evil per se, just a nasty habit of putting into motion plans that end up with the word "villain" included in them. Oh yeah, she's also sort of Terry McGinnis' mum in a "genetically engineered a Batman of the Future" kind of motherly way. Which might also crop up in reference too. Apart from Lex she's probably one of the more "powerful" humans in DC.
