MetalCaveman
Previously known as Project Beast, being developed by From Software and produced by SCE Japan. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/06/10/bloodborne-coming-exclusively-to-ps4-in-2015-new-details/#sf3256567 "In Bloodborne, the combat is based on intense life-threatening battles. One of the ways we are bringing that sense of danger to life is by keeping the deep strategic elements from Demon’s Souls, while also transitioning from the passive and block-and-attack style of Demon’s Souls to a quicker, more offensive and active combat style with close-range weapons and guns." That's going to be a thing. Looking forward to it. \m/ \m/
Mal
Guns? Now that theory of this being more of a direct spiritual successor to the Shadow Tower games with a Souls game twist seems plausible. The Souls games are more Kings Field.

toxicitizen
Man, this is quickly becoming one of my most anticipated games. If there was any doubt left that it's a Souls game in all but name, then this removes all of it. Up until now I had assumed that The Phantom Pain would be the game that makes me pull the trigger on a PS4 purchase but at this point it's most likely going to be whichever comes out first between MGSV and this. Faiblesse Des Sens
But but but MGS is getting a PC release! This is the first game to make me really want a PS4 though.
toxicitizen
Yeah, obviously I'd rather get MGSV on PC but at this point I'm kind of overdue for a complete system upgrade. I seriously doubt it'll be anywhere near playable on my current rig. It just makes more sense to get a PS4 first. It's cheaper and I'll be able to play most of the multiplat games I'm really interested in + the exclusives.
CorgiShinobi
I'm excited for it, and you know it's going to be Day One for a lot of people. I mean that also because one thing that sucks about currently playing Dark Souls II this far out after launch is that most invasions and PvE are with highly leveled players. Not to mention it can be hard to summon and be summoned with the lower activity. I wonder what kind of online element Bloodborne with have to it. We see you have an ally when fighting the wolf monsters, but that might be in-game and at random times. I sorta hope this strays a bit further from both Demon and Dark Souls in mechanics, though there's nothing inherently wrong with it. Wonder if we'll have any kind of magic. I do love me some Pyromancy! Edited August 21, 2014 by Atomsk88

Mal
There will be a dungeon that will be procedurally generated (Not the whole game). Neat.

Mr. GOH!
If it's anything like the Souls games, I will certainly need it while playing. But I am fairly confident it will come to PC, given the very strong PC gamer demand for From software's games. Might take 8 months or a year, though the rumors are it will be out for PC in 2015. Mister Jack
It's published by Sony. It's never gonna happen.
TCP
It'll come to PC the same day Uncharted, Killzone, and Infamous come to PC. Never.
deanb
Yeah, with MS published games it's a relatively high chance you'll get it on PC at some point. But Sony n Nintendo have little reason to release stuff on PC (more likely to come to mobile)
TheMightyEthan
It's published by Sony, but is it owned by Sony? The first Mass Effect was published by Microsoft, but was later released on PS3 (in the trilogy bundle).
TCP
My understanding is that this is like Demon's Souls, so it's owned by Sony.
Mr. GOH!
Eh, then I'll get it used in 2 years when I get a PS4, just like I did with the inFamous and God of War games. I will also eagerly await the spiritual successor to Bloodborne to come to PC.
