Thursday Next
I found the summons pretty weak too. Only took a few hits and I could stun lock them with the cane. The more I play the more I love that pimp cane. It is a beast!
CorgiShinobi
I decided to upload one of my earliest recordings from Bloodborne as motive for anyone curious in the game. Also shows my first experience with Co-op for a boss battle, so there's that too. Edited April 30, 2015 by Atomsk88
Thursday Next
I think this is the most wonderfully paced game I've ever played. Darkbeast Paarl slaughtered. Took two attempts. First time got him down to c.15% health, then got sloppy. Second time took no chances and went in tooled up with fire paper and Henryk's armour. Poor guy didn't stand a chance. Not sure where to head next. But I can't wait to go there.

MetalCaveman
She kind of looks like my evil Fable 2 character... Castle Cainhurst was a... thing The spider/tick/things are annoying as hell, but all of the other enemies are kinda easy to take care of It was... interesting to see what happens when you give Alfred the unopened summons.
TheMightyEthan
Lol, yes, that should totally have been obvious, given that she's not wearing huge amounts of loose clothing or anything.
Alex Heat
I finished up Bloodborne the other day, so now seems like as good a time as any to post these.
SomTervo
I need to do the same... I finally got to a new area which I haven't seen before since finishing the game! Upper Cathedral Ward. It's a... mean place. Also how the heck does one get to Cainhurst?
Thursday Next
You have to get an item and go to a place I think.
MetalCaveman
To get to Cainhurst you need the Cainhurst summons, you get those in a room in Iosefka's clinic, after that, go to Hemwick Charnel Lane from the Witch's Abode lamp, after you reach the big area with the axe giants, make sure to kill all the enemies before walking towards the obelisk/thing that's near the main path, if you have the summons, there will be a cutscene and then you'll be able to travel to Cainhurst castle. MetalCaveman
The hunter fight in the Cathedral is a... thing... Took a bunch of tries and after a while I ended up using the stair/Chikage exploit, not the best way to do it, but I didn't want to spend more time/resources fighting against that guy. Edit: Just completed Yahar'gul, that place is seriously frustrating with all those bell maidens that keep respawing enemies. Ended up just ignoring everything and heading straight to the boss. CorgiShinobi
Here, just uploaded. Like I put in the title, this was attempt "I dunno." He really is tough, but there is a way or two to beat him without the cheese.

SomTervo
Kenshi and I met an invader. Lol, I used blood vials repeatedly. That is so unfair. I didn't even think twice about it. Too busy enjoying the novelty of a co-op encounter I suppose. Edit: PS that is some badass shit, Anne Frankly he would have beaten us if I hadn't used BVs Edited May 5, 2015 by kenshi_ryden
Thursday Next
Yeah, I was waaaaay too cautious. Also struggled to get my cane to transform so felt under-ranged vs. Ludwigs. (Ludwigs is a cheap weapon to PvP anyways so fair play I says).
Thursday Next
@Kenshi: Up for some co-op this evening? After your help I unlocked the shortcuts, I also fancy giving Iosefka a kicking. Not a fan of her killing the real Iosefka and changing the Skeptical Man into a bobble head. Oh, by the by, when baddies drop loot in coop, do you get it too?
MetalCaveman
You might want to keep her alive, unless you've kept Arianna alive, she gives you one of the items you need to unlock a secret boss/ending.
Thursday Next
I dies. A can give me the item.
SomTervo
So you only get on item from either I/A? You don't need both? Thank god I've got A Not that I've had time to play in the last week – sorry I didn't get back to you Thursday. Gf has free evenings this week so my gaming time is down a lot. From next week she'll be back on evenings and I'll be doing all sortsa shit Edited May 8, 2015 by kenshi_ryden
Thursday Next
Haha, no worries. You can get it from I *and* A, but you can find one lying around and another from beating a boss, so you only need one or the other from I and A. Since I gives a decent drop, I dies. SomTervo
Do you have to kill them to get it?! And I thought we needed all three items for the "true" ending loving the use of code to get all this across when we have spoilertags and clearly nobody else on the forum gives a shit Edited May 8, 2015 by kenshi_ryden

I was being lazy at first because I was on my phone. You find one cord in the real hunter's dream. One for beating the wetnurse. One for killing Iosefka after beating Rom. One for killing Arianna's baby. Since you only need three, you can kill Iosefka before beating Rom for a sweet rune that gives you QS bullets when you visceral. MetalCaveman
Went through the Upper Cathedral Ward today, those brainsucker bastards are everywhere! Boss fight was really fun though, didn't expect that little alien thingy to turn into a giant alien thingy.
