deanb
Hmm wonder if the host has taken it down (or crashed, it was on Reddit where I found it and it doesn't seem like a regular sharing site it's from). Also tweaked my code a little cos the "open in new tab" link misses the webm bit off)
TheFlyingGerbil
It doesn't work on my iPad (safari) nor Edge. It does work on Chrome on laptop and android. So not sure what's going on. Glad I got to see it though! Edited August 2, 2015 by TheFlyingGerbil
deanb
Ah. Yeah. It should say your browser doesn't support it. Edge is pretty limited and Safari is considered legacy at this point.
TheMightyEthan
Tapatalk says my browser doesn't support it (which I know is what it's supposed to say, just providing another data point).
deanb
Yeah I had that crop up too. It also doesn't support gifv.

Mister Jack
So I read a rumor that Netflix is working on a Bloodborne TV show starring John Boyega and got super excited for a moment, then immediately after that I read another rumor saying that it wouldn't have any cosmic horror elements and immediately lost interest. I don't think I've ever done a complete 180 on a show so fast.
TheMightyEthan
What would it even be without cosmic horror? That'd be like Doom without the Hell portal or something.

MetalCaveman
I could see the first season being about Yharnam, people living their "normal" lives, then slowly werewolves and demon crows start to show up, things start going to hell but it's still just that kind of stuff. By the end of the first season we see the silhouette of an Amygdala as the moon turns red. Or something along those lines.
Mal
Maybe they are trying to surprise show-only watchers. All the cosmic horror stuff kind of came from left field if I remember correctly. People were kind of expecting to be Van Helsing but then came the space monsters and eldritch abominations. CorgiShinobi
Viewers will need to acquire more Insight first. Speaking of Bloodborne, I'll be playing the board game for the first time this coming Monday! I've had it for almost a whole year, but you need at least three people to play and I don't always have the time to get something together.
Mister Jack
Could we please get a Bloodborne remake next?
deanb
I'm sure most of you have seen clips of the PSX demake, but now noclip have a documentary on it. I'm not a huge bloodborne person, but the demake has been interesting, and almost nostalgic, in how it translates a modern 8th gen game into 5th gen sensibilities and Lilith does go into those considerations. Especially how the controller is totally different, and the style of menu/inventories compared to modern games. It's neat.
