Slurmee
Hey I'm Slurmee I'm new here. I play 3DS, Wii U and PS3/4 mainly, however I do own a Wii (used as a gamecube), N64, SNES, PS2 and GBA:SP. Nice to meet you all ヾ(°∇°*)

TheFlyingGerbil
Yay, a Nintendo fan. Are you planning to get an NX? Lots of people's enthusiasm for Nintendo seems to have ground to a halt at the Wii U. Either way, nice to see you here. Hope you like the place. Unless the NX is utter garbage I'm sure I'll pick it up somewhere down the line. As of now I have no idea I could see myself picking it up day one if Nintendo have an utter amazing launch line up or I could see myself waiting 3/4 years for a massive price drop if the lineup is so/so or somewhere in between which is what I usually do. That being said I am super worried about buying the NX then having it die almost instantly after I buy it like the Wii U. Even though I love the Wii U.

I think the Wii U has taught me a valuable lesson about buying hardware. Wait. There's always a reason to wait. Not saying 3-4 years, but from now on I'll take a year at least and evaluate after that point.

Didn't buy the Vita on day one? Yup, and I still use it regularly. Platinummed Day of the Tentacle on it the other day in fact.

TheFlyingGerbil
I think the Wii U has taught me a valuable lesson about buying [Nintendo] hardware.Never regretted a day one Sony purchase. Not saying I would have regretted a day one ps4, but I promised myself* I'd wait for the slim and now with the neo coming out I'm pleased I waited as a slim is nicer but you're not missing out and sometimes they actually remove stuff, but the neo is a different beast and I wonder how it will affect/effect people's buying habits in the future. *That was actually to clear my ps3 backlog first which had failed spectacularly. Considering the Neo is going to be pretty powerful I'm expecting it to be a lot more expensive than the original PS4 thus why I'm not overly upset with my PS4 1TB purchase considering I'm playing it quite a bit right now. Thursday Next
I'll probably get a Neo when it drops, I can trade in my PS4 against it, and it'll complement my PS VR purchase, and give me an excuse to get a 4K TV.
Zeo-Gold92
Joined the other day BUT I didn't realise there was an introduction thread xD. Glad to be apart of this board. Primarily a Sony gamer, but I have a bunch of retro systems that range from NES through to consolized MVS and many inbetween. I have a soft spot for the Saturn and Mega Drive in particular but I do hold more love for the SNES than I ever thought I would. I absolutely adore Killer Instinct on it. It's been awhile since I've picked up anything retro. I hope to pick up a Switch soon, I'm a sucker for Mario, Mario Odyssey definitely looks great to me. pixelcrawl
Hi everybody! ^__^ I'm bad at introducing myself, but I'll give it a go. I've loved games since an RPG for the PS1 called Legend of Legaia opened up my eyes to their possibilities, and I've never looked back since. My PS2, PS3, PS4, 360, 3DS, and GameCube get the most use, but I have some other consoles as well. I love most genres and I'm always seeking new experiences, but my personal top 5 is made up almost exclusively of survival horror games! It's good to be here!
Mal
Welcome aboard! And Legend of Legaia is dope as fuck. When I think about it, it had a great sense of progression with you trying out different input combos to discover new moves, in a turn-based RPG of all things. Maybe someday we'll see something like it again.

TheMightyEthan
Speaking of Legend of Legaia, we were cleaning out our basement a couple weekends ago and I found this: One of the few JRPGs I've ever liked.
