Mal
This is one has the fully blessing of Toho and is closely monitored by them. Should wipe away the smear that the 1998 film was. But yeah. We're ODST now. Mutos and other kaijus get fucked. Godzilla seems more or less neutral. We get fucked if we get in his way though. deanb
Huh, London again. Did we have some fucking sale or something?
TheMightyEthan
People got sick of New York and LA, apparently. So this is apparently WWII 2?
Waldorf and Statler
WORLD WAR 4?!
TheMightyEthan
No, it's like how Final Fantasy 13-2 and FF14 are two different games.
staySICK
Plus, I think they're just trying to set up some future stuff for the franchise. See here. Wife and I caught that same part, she saw the arms, while I caught the wings. And was that 6 doors opening? Yeah, 2 is definitely setting up the Sinister Six, which is better than the villains of SM3, because they actually go together and have a reason. That was my problem with 3, the lazy way they united the villains against Spidey. And I have to say, the suit is a huge improvement over ASM. Still not too pleased with Garfield as Peter though. Hot Heart
First one was actually really good ("Fuck you, science!").

deanb
Man just think how non-existent britain would be right now if Vikings had dragons to raid and pillage with.
staySICK
I want to see the sequel so bad. It's almost shameful how hard I fell in love with the first one. It's probably my favorite animated movie, probably.
TheMightyEthan
It's certainly up there. Too bad that trailer is crazy spoilers-ville.
Hot Heart
Well, this looks dumb. (I would've killed it the moment it switched an E for a 3).
deanb
Had heard of it. Seems like it'll be a reasonable watch, but much could be done to explore the Singularity (Which afaik hasn't really been touched upon in films despite being a rich breeding ground for sci-fi topics)
deanb
Not really my kind of film I think. Nick Frost on his tod has never seemed that great, heck even when propped up by Pegg never that great either.
deanb
New Terry Gilliam film. Probably going to be worth watching. (also just me or does Christoph Waltz look a bit like Malkovich?) Also no idea why it's sub-HD, I can't find anything HD or even approaching it elsewhere, but I guess they'll crop up eventually. And more Maleficent
deanb
I've never played the games so no idea if this follows along well. It's also the second Rainmaker game movie in the works too.

deanb
You know, I've not watch Sin City for a long while. I should maybe read the comics at some point.

deanb
New Jupiter Rising trailer. Looks like it'll be a spectacle, though tbh still not sure what it's going for.
deanb
And the film that shot them to stardom is 15 years old today. Here's the trailer: p.s watch Animatrix if you haven't.
