Mister Jack
Paul Giamatti, what are you doing. You're a good actor, stop picking shitty movies.

deanb
Trailer for the new Fantastic Four. I'm not sure on the Mr Fantastic. Though film is already getting ripped apart before it's even out so I dunno, probably lots to be unsure of.
toxicitizen
Oh goddamnit. I didn't even know they were making a new one. Or I forgot. Either way, this looks like absolute shit. Was the Timothy Olyphant one also full of needlessly over-the-top Matrix bullshit? I barely remember anything about it other than T-Bag was in it. Yeah, okay. I just looked up the trailer and it at least looks like a Hitman movie. It actually kinda made me want to rewatch it.
deanb
Seems we might be having a splurt of fun spy films.
Thursday Next
Hitman doesn't look awful.
Little Pirate
So this is a thing. I'm not getting my hopes up too much because, well... Adam Sandler's been on a downwards slope.
deanb
Yeah, I remember him being hot shit years back, but he kinda maybe needs to have like a nice bit of proper drama stuff like Jim Carrey had, or just drop out for a while. He's managed to do a lot of stinkers. Also I'm pretty sure Futurama did this first. (and to a degree: The Italian Job)
deanb
Simon Pegg opening a door remotely gag. Typecasting.
TheMightyEthan
So are they making it into a comedy? Cause the trailer she looks like it.
Mister Jack
How is it that we live in the year 2015 and the T-1000 somehow looks worse than it did in 1991. Also, good job spoiling the twist in the first trailer, marketing guys.
Thursday Next
Also, good job spoiling the twist in the first trailer, marketing guys. That annoyed me too. It was probably the only "fresh" idea in the film, and they shot their bolt straight away.
deanb
As a wee heads up if you think that one was spoilerific they've put out a new one:
deanb
Interest piqued. I know Disney is throwing a fair bit into this one.
deanb
Could be good, could be crap. Looks like it'll be better than that Seventh Son. Still waiting on a film staring Melkor.

Mister Jack
Can't be any worse than Cowboys vs. Aliens. Man, that movie sucked.
TheMightyEthan
Except there's no one riding a raptor.
Hot Heart
From the writer of Chronicle/maker of a "drunken history" of Death and Return of Superman. Should be fun.
IDDQD
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72RqpItxd8M If you dig Far Cry Blood Dragon and all it's shenanigans I guess this is the movie version of the same 80's parody-thing. Oh and here's a video for the obligatory 80's movie song performed by The Hoff himself: Pretty hilarious, both movie and the song.

deanb
Fate has ordained that the men who went to the moon to explore in peace will stay on the moon to rest in peace. These brave men, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, know that there is no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for mankind in their sacrifice. These two men are laying down their lives in mankind’s most noble goal: the search for truth and understanding. They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be mourned by their nation; they will be mourned by the people of the world; they will be mourned by a Mother Earth that dared send two of her sons into the unknown. In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of man. In ancient days, men looked at stars and saw their heroes in the constellations. In modern times, we do much the same, but our heroes are epic men of flesh and blood. Others will follow, and surely find their way home. Man’s search will not be denied. But these men were the first, and they will remain the foremost in our hearts. For every human being who looks up at the moon in the nights to come will know that there is some corner of another world that is forever mankind.
