madbassman39
I have no reason to be excited for MIB3, I just am! Can't wait for that film!
deanb
Very spoilerish.
deanb
As ben said:I don't want to encourage people making remakes but damn this looks cool
TheMightyEthan
That does look cool, though the CGI in that fight with the dudes in white was pretty bad. On a related sentiment Saw this trailer the other day and was thinking "that looks like it could be pretty cool, then the title pops up and "fuck, I'm a tool." deanb
Joseph Gordon-Levitt n Bruce Willis star as..the same man.tbh I'm not sure on how it all works. Obviously if it was the other way around it creates a grandfather paradox, but here it creates a predestination paradox (since his older self knows everything his younger self does to him, therefore his older self can be two steps ahead). Of course it doesn't matter. All that matters is it's a time travel film with Gordon-levitt n Willis in it.
Faiblesse Des Sens
A bit more action heavy than I was expecting when I first heard about it should be good.
Thursday Next
Total Recall looks like a futuristic Bourne film. Should be fun to watch though. Very excited about Prometheus.
Hot Heart
All that matters is it's a time travel film with Gordon-levitt n Willis in it. And that it's by the guy who did Brick!
deanb
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5x7pFRXrj1c They changed out Cobra Commander, otherwise Bruce Willis n Gordon-Levitt would be in two films together this year.

Strangelove
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=XQf3YP8p85I I didnt care for the first one, but this trailer is pretty badass.
deanb
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwfCRAtkYEI Not a trailer for a film mind.
CorgiShinobi
Eh... Well... I'm assuming this is going to be a real television series? Interesting, but a lot is holding it back. That even something like batteries don't work, but files on a self-powered USB drive can restore "technology" to the world. Yeah, a world that became a jungle pretty freaking fast too. Hot Heart
People are still using that Two Steps From Hell track? Doesn't help that it looks more like one of those "You gotta keep watching to find out all the secrets!" shows.

Thursday Next
Yeah, they better have a pretty damned good explanation as to why the laws of physics upped and stopped working and how trees that look to be a hundred years old suddenly appeared in a city after just 15 years. TheMightyEthan
Transplants. The warlords are big on urban beautification.
deanb
Doesn't help that it looks more like one of those "You gotta keep watching to find out all the secrets!" shows. The "Produced by JJ Abrhams" bit didn't give that one away? But yeah the fact chemical based batteries stop would imply the chemical based muscles would too. I'm curious to watch it just to see how they pull off the explanation. Cos an EMP would explain everything stopping, but not for 15 years and with extreme selectivity. TheMightyEthan
My first thought was that something made electricity quit working (which explains why even older, non-computer-controlled cars would quit, but guns would continue to work), but then our nervous systems should have quit working too. CorgiShinobi
Oh lordy, that project from freddiew. Just, he does amazing effects, but there's only so high you can go until you realize, "Maybe I shouldn't do that..." Still, the fans will eat it up. TheMightyEthan
Shorts are definitely his forte. I'm interested to see how they do with longer stuff, but I wouldn't say I'm optimistic.

Mercurial
Looks exciting, but every Daniel Craig film is starting to merge into one big mess.
