I feel I'm on of the few folks that didn't get much from RDR.

I found RDR an entertaining game, but I don't think it's a masterpiece. While the writing in general was above average, I found some of the side quests (and even main quests) tedious. I also wasn't too fond of the ending.

Haven't played yet. But the word is good and it boasts similarities to the ever-wonderful FTL, apparently.

Yes, this looks great. Trustworthy folks loving on the writing, too.

Same boat. I really enjoyed it but it felt absolutely nothing like what a good open world Western game would be. Was like a poor man's GTA in a good few ways. Great shooting but badly paced imo (should have been slower, more dangerous. More tough survival mechanics may have fixed it actually) Edited by kenshi_ryden

It is free to play until next Monday, but at first I didn't want to take advantage of that because I would then just end up buying the game to continue once the tryout period ends. But then I saw that it had such a sweet discount and thus I decided to buy it.

That's very nice of you, Alex Heat. I wish my roommate got me wet.

Hey, I stuck to my guns about not buying a New 3DS until I can get one I want, but I was already planning to get Majora regardless.  Monster Hunter I mostly got to play with friends, and that's a Capcom game anyway.

I'm not buying Majora's Mask until Nintendo have a special edition New 3DS I want to play it on. And that wasn't the MM one as I had plenty of opportunity to buy that monstrosity. And the ambassador edition I would easily have bought but was only the small one. Kind of wished I'd bought them both for mega profit though I don't think that would have gone down too well here, lol.

Originally I did intend to wait on those two games until I upgraded my 3DS, mostly so I wouldn't have to worry about potentially losing any data during a transfer.  However, it's starting to look like it will be several months before I can get my hands on a New 3DS version I want, if not longer, and I don't want to wait THAT long to play Majora.  My current XL still works fine.

I technically can play MM now as I have it on Gamecube, and still have my gamecube to play it on, but I loved the 3D so much and the crisper graphics on the OoT remake I want to play the new edition MM, and on the new 3DS for the more stable 3D. I've waited this long so can wait a little longer.

I realized the 1 GB of space on the PSTV isn't even enough to download lots of PSP games, so I got this just so I can put a couple games at a time on there.  I thought about getting a bigger one, but even the 8 GB one was going to be like $18 with shipping, and I don't think I'll use it enough to justify that.
