toxicitizen
Hell yes! You're in for quite a ride. And FYI, NISA just announced that they're localizing the third-person shooter spin-off Danganronpa: Another Episode. It's coming this fall. deanb
Gof this for Android. Significantly cheaper than the boargame, so can give it a spin before investing in the cardboard version. It has somewhat mixed reviews, but given the theme and the comparison to Lords of Waterdeep we're somewhat hopeful.
toxicitizen
Reviews for the first episode seem to be mostly on the positive side. So, being a Resident Evil fanboy, that's all I needed to pull the trigger. I got the full 40$ pack, which is all the episodes plus a bunch of bonus shit. There's a 25% voucher on GMG if anyone else is interested in getting it. Really wish I could stay up late to download and give it a shot but I have class in the morning. I enjoyed it, although it feels incredibly short for what it is. Hopefully Epi 2 gives us a little more.
CorgiShinobi
I think I'll wait on Revelations 2 when it's complete, though I'm typically fine with episodic games. With it being Resident Evil, I want to see how this game turns out when strung together. Shouldn't be more than a month from now as each new episode comes out on a Tuesday. toxicitizen
I was planning to wait as well but I caved in at the last minute. Which might have been a slight mistake because I had completely forgotten that I pre-ordered the Oddworld remake, which also came out today, and I'm still kinda hooked on FFXIII. Turns out listening to podcasts while grinding makes it a surprisingly enjoyable experience. So yeah, I didn't exactly need an extra game to play just yet lol. Speaking of which: There Came An Echo was already on my radar and I knew it was made by a NeoGAF member, but turns out the guy is actually a crazy bastard. Dude essentially gifted a copy to the entire fucking forum. Really awesome move on his part but I hope it won't hurt his sales too much. As for the other three games, I also grabbed the current IndieGala bundle. Those are usually complete garbage, so this one actually having three games I really wanted was pretty surprising. There was also a bunch of other crap I never even heard of. At some point I'm gonna have to go through my Steam library and put all of those in a "bundle garbage" category so that I can just forget about them. I suspect that a lot of games will end up in there...
toxicitizen
One more, because fuck yes! Hotline Miami 2! Grabbed the Special Edition, gotta have that soundtrack. That should be my last purchase for a while, I can't really think of anything else coming out this month that I'm interested in. Unless I'm forgetting something... OzuJL
^ I also pre-ordered it. If it's anything like the first game, then it should be an awesome game with endless replay value.

deanb
Got this last night, still trying to work out how to make things consistently go. Also how to build catapults that kill things further than -1' away. Other than that it's pretty sweet, especially for a fiver. Could have hours of fun with it. The shader is really nice too, just looks really nice.

Vecha
Bought SMT Strange Journey. Also bought Dragon Quest Monster Joker 1 & 2. Saw the two Joker games at game stop for real cheap...20 bucks tax included for both Had an issue where the first Joker game had issues being reconigzed by my 3ds. If I put it in a couple times and Evey other time it wouldn't pop up. And it would make my DS lite freeze for some odd reason. Took some can air and blue all over it...as well as took the shitty GameStop sticker off the pack with some nail polish removal. Ugh fucker. Finally worked with zero issues! That's what I love about Nintendo...they make some sturdy ass products that haven't cause me many issues. Besides having to do a few easy fixes...unlike my other consoles...-glares at the ps2, 360, and ps4-(I know some rarely had their ps2 break.) Plan to get the last two ps2 smt games I need...the devil summoner games.

toxicitizen
Oh, let me know how it is! I was super intrigued by it before its release but then it came out and I just kinda forgot about it. also I really shouldn't be buying anything else at this point but I was recently reminded of this game and that I had heard good things about it when it first came out. It was like 3 bucks on GMG, so whatever. Edited March 1, 2015 by FLD
TheMightyEthan
I got Contrast for free on PS+ and was disappointed. Is a really cool concept but the game itself isn't very good.
Mister Jack
I heard it got a major patch to improve it but I haven't tried it since then so I have no idea if it's noticeably better.

Well, my expectations going in aren't exactly super high. I heard it's very rough around the edges (though like Jack said, it's apparently been patched). But even at launch, George Weidman of SuperBunnyHop was very positive about it, and that guy has been my go-to reviewer for over a year now. So, him liking it kinda makes me feel like I need to give it a shot.
Thursday Next
I liked Contrast. Told a good story. Had a nifty game mechanic. Came across one really annoying chapter restarting bug. But it was a decent puzzle platformer. Especially as a PS+ freebie.
TheMightyEthan
That's probably the same chapter restarting bug that was the final straw that made me quit the game. It was just scraping by until that happened, but then I was like "nope, not redoing this."

Baconrath
I bought Homeworld Remastered...and then Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel because it was on sale. Was Homeworld always this clunky? Maybe it's me? I dunno. I'm sure there's some level of strategy or meta that I haven't quite grasped yet in the skirmish I played. Gotta memorize the what-ship-kills-what RPS I guess. deanb
See, I've never played Homeworld and heard it's meant to be pretty good. Wouldn't mind giving it a spin..but...Gearbox.
Hot Heart
Put in a bid on eBay, half expecting to win; turns out I did... just. I really dig the look and B-Movie theme of the game (you play aliens all invading Earth simultaneously), and seems like it might be good trashy fun. Will probably have to grab the expansion to make it five-player though.
deanb
I bought the Sububia app since PayPals deal kinda meant that it was only 11p. Been playing it today, it's quite a smooth little app. Nice to have some of these on your device since tablets are much slimmer n easier to set up for quick play in a cafe or pub somewhere. Did I post about the Witcher Boardgame App I got too? It was £4 from my survey credit, saved me £40 since we've figured it's not that great. It's kinda like Firefly with the slight difference being nearly everyone in the group has played Firefly, but not Witcher.
