LLtQ! YEAH! I really enjoyed screwing around in that one.

Yeah, I've been curious about that one for a while. At the very least, it's a really interesting premise for a game.

So far I've made zero purchases. I'll only buy anything that I really want and is severely discounted. I actually ended up spending some of my credit on CS:GO stuff. >.>

(plus Valkyria Chronicles)

Grey Goo had a weird bug wherein it displayed on my main monitor the first time I ran it but then it decided sometime after to start running on monitor #2. Had to make it windowed and drag it to the right monitor to fix it. I've only played as the goo so far and I got steamrolled the first time cause I didn't move around enough and didn't build up a big enough force but I really like the mechanics of it.

Plus you can roll over the smaller enemies with the mother goo and glorf them

Fellow Canadianos:

Amazon.ca has a fantastic E3 deal... pre-order any 3 of these games, enter in E3SAVE30 at checkout and you'll save 30%. I picked up:

Assassin's Creed Syndicate

No Man's Sky

Fallout 4

Arkham Knight

Metal Gear Solid V

The Last Guardian

Uncharted 4

Final Fantasy XV

Mass Effect Andromeda

All for about $60 each, including shipping and taxes.

Yeah! Most games retail for 79.99 (thought some of these games were 69.99 and 74.99) + tax now, which in BC is 12%... so I ended up spending less than I would have two years ago as that $60 average is including taxes and shipping. I mean, if games were 59.99 and had a 30% off deal that would have been ridiculous but at the very least it takes the sting out of the prices constantly raising. Who knows, maybe some of these prices will go down too.

Amazon had a similar deal last year, though I only ordered a few games, now I should be set for most AAA games that I want in the next year. Though I might regret not getting Dishonored 2.

Wait, No Man's Sky is a retail release? For some reason, I thought it was a smaller, downloadable game. I figured it'd be like 20 bucks or something. And just like that, all my interest in it is gone. I'd say "I'm not paying 60 bucks for that" but looking at Amazon.ca it's actually 79,99$ here, which is all kinds of WTF.

I'll wait until it's ~15 bucks on Steam, I guess.

Might be the biggest but it's procedurally-generated and I strongly suspect that there won't be much more to it than what we've already seen. Since the initial reveal, it's had "not gonna live up to the hype" written all over it, imho.

But you're right, 20 bucks is kinda low, I suppose. I wasn't saying that should be its price, just that I had assumed it would be in that ballpark. Maybe 30-40 would be more reasonable but at 60 bucks I'm out and 80 bucks is just downright fucking insane.

I idled for most of my card drops and made like 15 bucks selling them. So, this cost me about 4$.

I'm really glad I didn't get Re;Birth 2 when it came out a couple weeks ago. It was very tempting at 50% off and I never expected it would go even lower than that so quickly. Seriously, I mean, 70% off this soon is kinda nuts. They already did that whole 50% off the first week, so who knows what the hell they're thinking, but I have to wonder if it didn't bomb pretty hard compared to the first game. Not that I'm complaining.

Now to get the DLC or not...

edit: Fuck it, it's dirt cheap. Grabbed all the DLC for both games.

So, you guys aren't buying much, uh?

I've heard great things about The Fall, so I've had my eye on it for a while. It was a no-brainer at 2 bucks. And fucking finally, Trails in the Sky got a damn flash deal! I was planning to replay it this week but I didn't expect it would only show up at the very end of the damn sale. There's no way I could possibly finish it before Arkham Knight comes out, so it's gonna have to wait until after I'm done with that.

So, with Ys Napishtim, TitS and the Neptunia games, that's pretty much everything I really wanted out of this sale. At this point, I shouldn't be buying anything else. I probably will, because I'm an idiot, but I really shouldn't. Though the only big purchase I could possibly make at this point is if Scholar of the First Sin gets a good daily tomorrow. I already gave a pass to everything else that was on my list. I'll probably just grab a few more dirt cheap games on the last day or something.

I bought Stanely Parable yesterday, thought I'd posted about it, but I guess I'd chosen not to.

(also I guess I've bought less than I've posted already since I refunded the Korra game...which is kinda annoying me now cos it's been accepted but the funds back into Steam Wallet are "processing" n have been for several days now)

I don't feel like finding images, but this Steam Sale I got:

Valkyria Chronicles, Gods Will Be Watching, Small World 2, Tales From the Borderlands, Homeworld Collection Remastered, Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition, Age of Wonders Classic Pack, and Age of Empires II. Should have gotten the Metal Gear demo for $5, but kept forgetting, too.
