deanb
I picked up Rebuild 3 for mobile other day. I've played Rebuild and quite enjoyed it. I think I got it free on Amazon or in a HIB. It was a nifty little city builder, though slightly basic and this horrible clash of art style. Sort of a cartoony city n characters, and really gritty drawings for the zombie attacks. Rebuild 3 has the art style all nailed down and centralised. It's a bit more story driven of sorts too (in so far as there's less survivors, so they have backstories which expand upon as you level up, which is a new thing for them with picking perks and such). I like that survivors have requirements before joining, and sometimes little stories like being ill (do you take the risk?) or hating each other (which one do you want, oh fine the other guy will make their own faction). Really good upgrade, I'm happy with the cost (which given I used Google Reward money was free).
TheMightyEthan
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I don't understand the excessive love for Tearaway. It was pleasant, but nothing amazing.
TCP
Just like Batman patrolling Gotham looking for crime, Ethan patrols message boards looking for people saying positive things about Tearaway. The difference is Batman a hero and Ethan is the villain in this case.
CorgiShinobi
Usually the villains are the ones who feel harassed by the hero. Their insanity skews their worldview and depicts them as the victim.
TheMightyEthan
I don't respond to everything positive about it, just "OMG GOATEE" type comments.
TCP
God forbid I have an opinion different than Ethan!!! GONNA PLAY SOME HALO GUYS, BUT NOT TOO MUCH, GOTTA BE IN COURT EARLY TOMORROW, I'M SUING AN ORPHANAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hot Heart
aka. Arena Shooter: The Board Game. Rab Florence had raved about this way back and it seemed like a fun enough, light game. Just so happened that someone had listed this on eBay along with the expansion, so I got an okay deal on it.

Saturnine Tenshi
Forgot to mention that I bought the Ultimate Edition of this:
Mal
On GOG since I want to build that library. Hilariously bad voice acting but from what I've seen and played, the gameplay is absolutely tight. Yes, the game does looks like a Sonic clone but i think it iterates on it really well which is not something you can say about what SEGA has done. Mister Jack
A friend convinced me to buy Undertale, also known as "the RPG where you don't have to kill anyone." Here's a trailer if you haven't heard of it. Edited September 20, 2015 by Mister Jack
Mr. GOH!
I bought Undertale and Soma and am looking forward to messing around with them over the next week or so.

Mr. GOH!
I am generally not a fan of the whole amiibo concept, but that's a cool amiibo, TCP.
TCP
I know right! I borrow a friends Link and Samus amiibos to scan into Mario Maker so I could use their costumes and was thoroughly unimpressed with the designs, but 8 bit Mario looks pretty cool. I went full nerd and bought myself my first amiibo: HOW COULD I NOT?!?!? LOOK HOW COOL IT IS. LOOK!!! LOOOOOOOOOK!!!!!! Where did you even find it? I haven't seen that one anywhere. Amazon.ca had them for a few minutes, I guess. I just happened to go on and look, saw it for 15 dollars, and purchased. I went back an hour later and it was sold out. TheFlyingGerbil
What I didn't buy today was a £200 PS4. They'd left out the "take to the till" DVD cases so was pretty excited but when I got to the till they said they didn't have any left. Pretty annoying stuff. Unless I see another offer that good it's back to waiting for the slim to rear it's hopefully-not-ugly head.
TheFlyingGerbil
I bought bishi bashi special and suikoden. I couldn't quite bring myself to buy Hatoful boyfriend though I'm tempted
Mister Jack
I went full nerd and bought myself my first amiibo: HOW COULD I NOT?!?!? LOOK HOW COOL IT IS. LOOK!!! LOOOOOOOOOK!!!!!! I managed to snag this bad boy for myself by sheer dumb luck while I was out shopping earlier. I also picked up Zero Suit Samus for a friend. They also had the retro 3-pack but the only one of those I would really want is R.O.B. and I don't think they sell him separately so eh, whatever. TheFlyingGerbil
I finally bought Majora's Mask for 3DS. After missing the £19.99 offer I saw and royally pissing myself off as it was my fault I missed it I finally found an offer that was complicated but good. Was almost tempted to buy a New 3DS XL to go with it but I have a feeling 3DS is not long for this world and do not want to hear about it's successor hot on the heals of me buying it. deanb
Picked up Lifeline. Android Police mentioned the Martian app and how it's like Lifeline and I'm like "oh yeah, I'd been interested in that", checked it out and it's on sale for 77p so picked it up. toxicitizen
I've been rewatching the AVGN eps from the start lately and as a result I felt like finally giving the game a shot. I knew it went on sale fairly regularly so I checked Steam on a whim and, sure enough, 60% off. I've only managed to beat one level so far but I can already tell it's going to be a weird one. It seems like a pretty decent side-scrolling platformer. I mean, at the very least it's competently designed. But it's also intentionally going for that "Bullshit!" kind of old-school difficulty AVGN always rants about, with stuff like obnoxious enemy placement and flight patterns, disappearing platforms and whatnot. That seems like a pretty delicate balance to maintain, so it'll be interesting to see if the entire game pulls it off as well as the first level did.
