TheFlyingGerbil
Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition. A few people in a facebook gaming group I'm in were raving about it. I spotted it for cheap (£12) so a few more people bought it and also loved it. It's supposed to be a bit puzzle questy, which I loved. There a free (with IAP) version on Google Play for anyone interested though it's not compatible with my phone so I don't know if it's tablet only or just that my phone is pants. toxicitizen
Just came out of Early Access like a week ago. I've been really curious about it since I love Zachtronics' games and a literal programming game seems like it should be right up my alley. Then again, I was kind of terrible at assembly when one of my classes covered it... Anyway, speaking of Zachtronics, I also started playing SpaceChem again recently. On the first couple worlds, it was kind of annoying how every single time I came up with a solution to a level I'd end up at the leaderboards and there was Buttface Ethan with a score like twice as efficient as mine! But now that I'm more than halfway through the game, I picked up a few optimization tricks. So, I went back to the early levels and fucking destroyed your scores, Ethan! In your face! In your buttface!
TheMightyEthan
Did you get farther than me? I got to a point where I couldn't get any farther.
toxicitizen
Yeah, I just finished the fifth world today, so I'm about halfway through. You stopped showing up in the leaderboards a couple worlds back. I got stuck way earlier than you when I first played years ago, though, so it's pretty satisfying to see how much my problem solving skills have improved. It's almost like that computer science education is actually working! Totally worth the thousands of dollars in student debt. If I can manage to beat the whole game, that shit is going on my résumé.
TheMightyEthan
Now I'm feeling like trying to tackle it again...
toxicitizen
Do it! I wouldn't mind some competition to give me an excuse to go back and optimize some of my solutions. The leaderboards are populated from your friends list and the only other person that showed up was CrowKnow, and he stopped showing up around the same place as you. TheMightyEthan
Played for a couple hours and beat a bunch of your high scores on the first couple planets (not all of them though). I would have kept going but my computer froze.
toxicitizen
Hahaha, man it was kind of a pain in the ass trying to shave off just a cycle or two in some of them just to get back in first place. Looked ahead a bit and you still have some scores on the third planet that I haven't beat yet. Looked at my solutions and instantly went "Oh, hell no." Those things are a fucking mess. I am not looking forward to screwing around with them. Lol.
deanb
RE Alphabears: They updated yesterday and the times are much more lenient now, with many on like 20 minutes. So can play many more games without burning out bears until the next day.
TheFlyingGerbil
Can't help thinking alphabears sounds more like a tumblr I'd follow.
deanb
It shares to Tumblr. You not seen all the alphabears posts? https://twitter.com/hashtag/alphabears
TheFlyingGerbil
I have seen no alphabears posts on tumblr, and I don't really use Twitter. It was more a joke about it sounding like dominant hairy men. I guess it didn't hit the mark...
deanb
Ah, I get it now... yeah didn't quite hit the mark. I guess I don't think of "bears" in that sense first n foremost. Anywho I used todays Amazon dealy combined with a voucher from my sis to pick up: So works out at £25 which is pretty good price. (oh PC version. I know consoles get the mods too but I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to open the ini's and exe's) (and blu-ray Guardians of the Galaxy)
Mr. GOH!
I got it, TFG, and I thought it was funny. Not gonna pre-order FO4. I was so badly burned by Arkham Knight that I'm holding off on preordering altogether (even though my AK preorder was free with my new laptop). toxicitizen
Don't worry TFG, I also got it. It was a good joke.
deanb
I picked up the Mobile Humble Bundle. I've also noticed the "Beat The Average" has dropped from $4.50 other day to $3.60 now, and I'm pretty sure it's $5 to start so I think they fucked up somewhere. TheMightyEthan
The games you get for bearing the average must not be enticing enough.
TheFlyingGerbil
Did you beat the average, Dean?
deanb
Nah. I already have Talisman from Amazon, and the other two one of them is like...Angry Birds: 40K
TheFlyingGerbil
I struggle to get excited by the bundles nowadays. Not sure if it's the combo of games most of which i haven't even heard of or frequency they put them out.
TheFlyingGerbil
How much could I expect to get for my brother's ps2, which looks pretty gross condition plus:- Half Life LEGO Star Wars Championship manager FIFA 06 and Fifa 09 Resident evil 4 Street fighter alpha anthology If it's not too much, probably just bin it and give him my money. deanb
Maybe clean it up and dump it at a charity shop instead?
Saturnine Tenshi
I can't necessarily speak for the UK, but 'round these parts those games won't get you jack shit. PS2 either. TCP
I'll give you 3 quid for it, but you have to pay for shipping.

You could do a quick check on CEX website for a rough idea.
