Games You've Bought 2015

I've picked up Elite Dangerous cos £10 to go flying spaceships around isn't bad. And Stick of Truth cos it's meant to be good (I feel I might miss a fair few references since it was only last year I found out it was still going. T'was episode where Butters shoots the guys in the balls) and it has been £5 in sales often enough. Something to play after Fallout 4.

Only bummer is it's end of month, which means short on funds so no looking around for maybe a shiny new monitor or similar. But Boxing Day sales always more impressive.

edit: Picked up Elder Signs Omens on Google Play for 78p.

edit 2: Yeah ED controls like crap and I can't be arsed to pick up a full flight stick for a £10 game. So refunded it.

I can't decide what's weirder, buying yourself Christmas presents, or celebrating Thanksgiving in November

We do it that way because there's a wide range of financial means in our family, and this way people can spend as much or as little as they want without feeling bad for getting someone else something crappy.  And the part where we have to guess whose gift it is is a lot of fun.

Strange you say that, I actually just got a PM from your sister, TheMightyEartha, and she said everyone actually buys everyone else presents but every year Ethan only gets himself something.

It's a Canada only kind of thing because we reign.... SUPREME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also I get really annoyed when American's post thing online about deals on "Amazon" without specifying if it's US, Ca, UK, etc. So I can't resist doing the same thing back.

That's because you're on Amazon.com which is the American version of Amazon. A lot of times they only ship to the US, or if they ship internationally once you pay the exchange rate and shipping fees it's significantly more expensive (and slower) than Amazon.ca.

I should have mentioned this when it was on sale, but Until Dawn was $20 over the weekend. I originally rented the game and did one run of the story. Thing is, it's actually such a good game that I wanted to own it and go through it once more and try out some alternate choices.

Also, there's yoga pants.  ;)

Google Cardboard VR viewer.  I've been wanting to kind of mess around with VR without having to spend Oculus Rift or Playstation VR money on it, especially since I don't yet know whether I'm the kind of person who can do it without getting sick.  I figure I've already got the phone, so this is a good way to try it without investing a whole lot.

I still find it hard to believe that's a real product. I hope you like it I want vr to be a hit though i doubt it will if 3d is anything to go by. I'm sort of hoping they do a decent priced bundle with the ps4 and vr headset but I already know it will be a waste of money. The other problem with that is it's making me want to get an XO in the meantime which I really had no intention of ever getting.

Yeah, that's part of my thought is I can see vr never really taking off, but for $20 it doesn't matter if I end up sticking it in a closet and never using it.
