Saturnine Tenshi
Give them some love here. Slog through the Funpocalypse in Undead Darlings, a visual novel dungeon crawler RPG developed in the West with a Japanese aesthetic. I figured a few of you guys are into that sort of thing. Mal
It is pre-alpha screenshots but that is some god awful 3D work. They got to unify the aesthetics of the game. From everything I've seen of it, Unity is what you make of it. Put in the effort and the game can come out looking great. They should for sure try their bloody hardest to have the 3D world look and feel like their (well done) 2D drawn counterparts. Though I suppose they are taking hints from say Disgaea where Nippon Ichi smashed together 2D sprites in a 3D world. It surprisingly worked but with this game, you'll be switching from strictly 3D to 2D and back again. And say no to random encounters. They are a relic of the older console generations. Have monster models in the 3D dungeons that you can avoid if you like.

This, along with the weapon durability stuff kinda killed my interest, will keep an eye on it, but for the time being, can't say I'm looking forward to it.
