Baconrath
http://risingthunder.com/ Rising Thunder is a PC fighting game made by Radiant Entertainment (plus Seth Killian) currently in a technical alpha. It is/will be free to play. Just sign up on their site and wait for a key (or three?). Every character has a light, medium and heavy buttons for normals as well as three specials that are on cooldowns (alpha, beta, gamma) plus one for throw and another for special. Each characters specials can be switched out as a loadout of sorts but so far only a few characters have extra ones at this poing in the alpha. Quarter circles, 360s and DP-motions are out. Their goal for this game was to lower the execution barrier that keeps many from getting to the good stuff like mind games (etc.) to show what makes fighting games actually fun. Also you get the choice between a Kinetic Burst (knockback thingy ala-Guilty Gear) and a Kinetic Advance (dash cancelling). These are limited by a blue bar at the bottom of the screen. http://youtu.be/wr9KGKrj4aw So far only 6 Character robits: Dauntless - boxer type? Kinda like Dudley from SF. Chel - a shoto/long range-zoning character. Lots of fireballs and uppercuts when you jump over said fireballs. Talos - a Greek grappler with some magnetic moves that can draw opponents in. I've heard him described as Zangief + Iron Tager Crow - mixup character that looks like hes from Evangelion. One of this moves poops out a bubble that makes him invisible to his opponent. Not sure how useful that is, but hey. Vlad - a giant Russian shoto with a jetpack piloted by a dog named Zib. The jetpack not only helps your air game but can be used to cancel moves into others. Edge - a fast swordsman robot (which one forum user called "Boruto"). When his alpha special hits it powers up his beta (basically dragon punch).
