Eleven
Because its the best Tales game ever. And, uh, I had to buy a 360 as well just to play it again. If this game gets XBONE backwards compatibility I'm gonna punch someone. So now that I have a 360 again, any other 360 games suggestions? TheFlyingGerbil
And I've got to buy more stuff I had no intention of getting too. MS website says it uses promotional balances first, but it's taking money from me in the order it was applied to my account so I have to spend ALL the money in my account (including the stuff that has no expiry date) to not lose my money that's expiring in 2 days. Chat help confirmed that their site says it uses promo balances first, but that there systems take the money in the order it was applied but would not/could not do anything about it. I feel like it should be illegal to me as they're not following the system they're advertising. Either way I'm pretty miffed. Had problems with them before when they wouldn't use the money in my account because I didn't have a credit card linked to my account. The whole reason I bought the voucher was because I didn't want to link my CC info to the account. Couldn't do anything about that either. Bloody knobheads, they are. Thinking of getting oceanhorn with some of the rest of the money. I was just about getting over the fact it's such a blatant rip-off of Zelda (Wind Waker mostly), but then I saw they're bringing out a sequel and their new weapon bears a striking resemblance to the arrows from the Zelda Wii U teaser trailer and it's pissed me off all over again Probably going to have to get over it as I need to spend the money
TheMightyEthan
It was less than $10 on cdkeys.com, so I snagged it. It was the Ripley Edition, so it also includes Crew Expendable and Last Survivor, which is neat because those were the only DLC's I was interested in.

For a shitty Wind Waker clone that I got from some cheap bundle, it was way more fun than it had any right to be. Got close to 20h out of it and I'm on board for a sequel. Just don't go in expecting something on par with Zelda. It's not.
deanb
Sentinels of the Multiverse on Steam cos it's 69p.
TheFlyingGerbil
I'm now the proud owner of Oceanhorn, which was not cheap but since I was going to lose the money and their wasn't anything else I wanted. Who knows I'm only losing £1.80 now. Not sure I can actually get anything with that amount of money.

Saturnine Tenshi
I figured you were exaggerating about Oceanhorn, but I just checked the Steam page. Doesn't really work against it, though.
TheFlyingGerbil
I bought Chase: Cold Case Investigations - Distant Memories. It's by a lot of the people from CiNG, so I'm looking forward to it. I bought is using a 20% off gold coin voucher from My Nintendo. It's the first time I've used one and it worked really well, surprisingly. Still got a lot of coins to spend and vaguely hoping for the promised physical items to return. Not holding my breath though.
TheMightyEthan
Dishonored 2 is £34.99 on Gamesplanet, which after Brexit translates to like $1.63 in real money (actually $42.92 but it's still a really good deal).
deanb
Well nice to know it's working out well for some.
Mr. GOH!
Pulled the trigger on Civ Vi since I doubt it will get any more discounts on cdkeys or gmg before release day. I just hope Amazon sends me the code early so I can VPN to Europe and unlock it Thursday night.
TheMightyEthan
I still have the physical Amazon preorder for that since with Prime you get 20% off, so I won't be getting mine until Friday. I'm still holding out hope though that it will go on sale somewhere before Amazon ships it.
Mr. GOH!
I'm heading straight from work on a mini-vacation to Long Island for my birthday, so I had no choice but to get the digital version so I could play it after my wife goes to bed Friday and Saturday. Also, I used Amazon gift cards I've gotten for my birthday on it, anyway, so I'm not sore about missing out on the deals from other sites. I'm pumped for this game! TheMightyEthan
Welp, Civ VI shipped, dashing my hopes of it going on sale somewhere else. It has, however, kindled all-new hopes that it might be delivered early.
Mal
Might be my last game for a long while. Edit: Got my key and into my Steam library. Edited October 20, 2016 by MAGA-H
TheFlyingGerbil
Half price on Wii U, which surprisingly is supposed to be the best version.
FMW
So the thing about the Nintendo DS library is that it's kinda bottomless. I own more DS games than any other console by a mile and I still have a big old "to do" list of DS games that are supposed to be really fun and solid that I haven't bought. So I made a dent in that list on Amazon today. Meteos, Lunar Knights (Kojima Productions Boktai sequel), and Henry Hatsworth will all be shipped to me and added to the collection. Anyone played any of these?
TheFlyingGerbil
I always wanted to play Meteos, but never could find it for sale. I own Henry Hatsworth but haven't played it (yet?). I think I could never buy a game again and still have a lifetime's entertainment sat on my shelves.
FMW
Yeah, that's increasingly been one of my thoughts too. If we went a year or two with zero new game releases I would be just fine with that. I would have all the time in the world to catch up on and fully explore all these games I already own. ...but instead of doing that I go on shopping sprees online buying decade old handheld games three at a time. Oh well.
toxicitizen
Yeah, shopping for good DS games is almost like its own hobby at this point. I have a pretty long list of titles I want to grab, some of which are unfortunately kinda rare and pricey now. I lucked out earlier this year when VideoGamesPlus somehow ordered a reprint on some titles and managed to grab a copy of Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 for an actually normal price. I fully expect I'll have to pay out the ass for Dragon Quest VI and IX, though. But man, the day I'll finally have DQ IV through IX all playable on my 3DS will be a good day. FMW
I'm already there with the mainline Dragon Quest games, but Rocket Slime is on the list still. I could get one of the two DQ Monsters games, but honestly I have pretty limited tolerance for that style of RPG. It's all gameplay with very little story... but the gameplay is always simplistic in a way that's clearly designed with elementary school kids in mind. Same reason I'm not a big Yo Kai Watch or Pokemon guy. Thanks for reminding me that Trauma Center 2 exists though List just got one game longer
toxicitizen
Looks like they still have some copies left! Rocket Slime as well, since you mentioned it. I'm not sure how much they charge to ship outside of Canada, but folks on NeoGAF talk about using them all the time, so I'm assuming it's not too crazy.
FMW
Get behind me Satan. I already bought three games that haven't even arrived yet.
