Strangelove
Remasters drop in price quick? I've been eyeing up Nathan Drake Collection and Last of Us for a while now n they don't seem to want to drop much in price. Though I am in tight-fisted mode at the moment. TLoU has been on sale, but mostly due to how long its been around, so youre kind of right. First party remasters keep their value, third party not so much.
toxicitizen
Never owned a 360, so I was pretty happy when they announced the remaster and PC port. Now I'm kinda glad I never got around to playing the second one, I can start the series from the beginning. The VIP discount on GMG saved me about 20% compared to the Steam price, and that's after the currency conversion, so that was nice. Since Quantum Break got pushed to the end of the month, I figure this should keep me busy until then. Now, I just need to finish SOMA by tuesday. deanb
Dean's from Yorkshire so has a different scale for tight fistedness to most of us. There's surely some form of -ism infraction here. Given you're Welsh n all, I'm not sure you'd want to open up the stereotypes But yes, unemployment + yorkshireman = very tight fisted for time being. TheFlyingGerbil
I bought Watchdogs for £15 last week, but found the complete edition for £13 today so bought that. Luckily, this is one time my procrastination has paid off, as I didn't unseal the first copy, and bought it in an IRL shop so can take it back easily enough. Only trouble is the other one is being delivered while I'm on holiday which I don't particularly like, though I'm sure it will fit through the letter box. TheMightyEthan
It's weird, whenever I'm looking at anything about Destiny I start to get super pumped, but then the instant I stop I rapidly decline into apathy. I've never experienced anything like this before.
toxicitizen
Grabbed a couple things in Humble's end of summer sale. Both are games I'm planning to go back to and finish in the near future, so why not.
Mister Jack
Five bucks on steam and I used to love the first two entries in the series so what the hell. I hear this is the last good one before Sims 4 takes a huge dump on the franchise anyway.
Baconrath
I got copies of Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 for cheap.
toxicitizen
That would be the physical edition coming out at the same time as the Steam release. Haven't bought a physical PC game in forever but it's the same price and comes with some bonus stuff, so I figured why the hell not. I assumed it wouldn't even be available in Canada at all, so it was a nice surprise to find it on Amazon.ca. Also, man it's good to finally be able to buy this one. I love Remedy but not even them could get me to buy from the Windows 10 store. Really hope QB isn't an exception and that we'll see more of MS' PC releases eventually hit Steam. I'd like to also be able to get ScaleBound at some point down the line. Unless it sucks, I guess. I trust Platinum and Kamiya but nothing they've shown so far has looked particularly amazing. TheMightyEthan
All the Dragon Age: Inquisition DLCs were on sale for $4.94 each on PSN
TheMightyEthan
Went ahead and got TMS#FE. Apparently it doesn't support off-screen play though, which is a bummer since that's basically the WiiU's only redeeming feature.
Mal
The 60 FPS update brought this way up my wishlist. The sale also helps.
toxicitizen
Seems there's some fuckery going on with the physical edition, with people apparently getting emails about a delay from Amazon and being asked to confirm they still want their order. Was already kind of annoyed about not having my copy shipped until next week, so it sucks but I decided I'd rather miss out on the physical extras and get to play the game tonight rather than wait and risk it being delayed beyond next week. Cancelled my physical order and bought it directly from Steam instead. Edited September 29, 2016 by FLD

toxicitizen
Ended up cancelling most of my Fall pre-orders except for Trails of Cold Steel II but I just got this as an early birthday present. Probably won't get around to it for a little while (I've barely touched Cold Steel II and I'll have to finish that first) but I was a little worried it would become hard to find sooner rather than later, so I'm glad to have my copy waiting for me on the shelf. toxicitizen
Bought this yesterday because Zachtronics is the best. Also, today was Humble Monthly day. I got Grim Dawn like a week ago as the early unlock but only got the rest of it today. I usually approach this as a "Do I want the early unlock game for the price of the bundle?" kinda purchase and everything else is a bonus. It would be foolish to look at it any other way. I was vaguely interested in Grim Dawn but not enough to buy it at this price, I was actually planning to cancel this month and forgot. Some months have been better than others but so far there hadn't been any month where any of the secret games were particularly amazing. That all changed today because I got Slime fucking Rancher! Been interested in it for a while now but it never quite hit the right price for me to bite. So, that was a really nice surprise. I would've been so bummed out if I'd actually cancelled. Oh and btw, has anyone else been having issues with imgur lately? It's been a pain in the ass for me for a couple weeks now, I wasn't even able to upload these pics, it just hangs on "processing" forever. toxicitizen
Damn, must be something on my end then. Weird. I've already tried different browsers and disabling extensions, so that's not the problem. :/
