TheFlyingGerbil
Not heard of it before, sounded interesting and for the price worth the risk of the average reviews.
TheFlyingGerbil
It's reduced to 50p at the moment and everyone seemed to like it when it came out.

deanb
Reigns. I also picked it up, though yet to load it up (been super busy, and it carried on erroring when installing which kinda soured me on it a bit to start with). There's a bunch of games on sale on Android atm, including Deus Ex GO and a bunch of Final Fantasy games (though that means they're still like £5 a pop but I guess that's less than Mario Run ). TheMightyEthan
Akiba's Trip. At $15 it's as low as it's ever been, so I caved.

TheMightyEthan
You fight vampires by knocking their clothes off of them so the sun hurts them. Duh.
toxicitizen
Akiba's Trip is a weird and flawed game but also really cool. Their recreation of Akihabara feels super authentic, so if you're even just a little bit into otaku culture it's pretty great to just walk around and take it all in. It's probably going to feel dated now but there are actually billboards that play trailers for Disgaea 4 and Trails of Cold Steel 1. For the longest time, I was wondering where the hell I had heard the Cold Steel main theme before lol. If you don't mind janky combat and think running around Akihabara and hitting people over the head with a laptop sounds like a good time, you should have fun with it. I've been meaning to double dip but I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger at 15 bucks since I've played the Vita version. At this point I'm really starting to wonder if it'll ever go below a 50% discount.
Saturnine Tenshi
I haven't actually played the game. Just watched a few gameplay videos. Is it really a somewhat-accurate recreation of Akihabara? Also heard the PC version had issues? Think it was here.
toxicitizen
I've never actually been there so I can't really say but it sounds like it is.
TheMightyEthan
It's like Homeworld meets Freespace, which is the game I would have said I'd wanted if I'd been smart enough to know I wanted it before they announced it. Also, I need to be done with the Steam sale now...
toxicitizen
Grabbed this last night along with a few other cheap games. Finally went back and finished the story mode of Disgaea this week, so it's finally time to play this. From what I understand, it's quite different from Disgaea. So, that should be interesting. Just gotta make sure I don't take another full year to finish this one because Disgaea 2 is coming at the end of January! I really shouldn't be buying anything else, though. Stuff that's still expensive like God Eater and Dishonored 2 is easier to resist but there's a handful in the 10-15$ range that are so fucking tempting.
TheMightyEthan
I didn't technically buy Forza Horizon 3, got it for Christmas. Still though. Same with XCOM 2. Bought ReCore because I was expecting to get it for Christmas and didn't, and it's on sale for like half of what it's ever been on sale for before. I don't need any more games for a long long time. danielpholt
Couldn't decide on Motorsport Manager or Quantum Break so I decided to save what's left of my steam credit.
deanb
I'm mulling over grabbing first Hitman 2016, though I'm kinda cuious if if you do you can pick up the rest in the bundle if you do. Knowing S-E probably the case.

Knowing S-E probably the case. Not sure what you're asking here but I have a spare code for the intro pack if you want it. I'm an idiot and bought S-E's holiday mystery bundle despite there being a 99% chance I would already own everything in it. Spoiler: I did.
TheMightyEthan
If you buy the intro pack (prologue and episode 1) you can either buy the rest of the episodes together in the Upgrade Pack, or you can buy them individually. toxicitizen
I unexpectedly got some Steam funds as a present last night, so I suddenly have a sale budget! Well, had. And I totally went over it but just a little bit... I was originally going to get SteamWorld Heist and some others as well but I ended up going with God Eater, which is the most expensive by far (it does come with God Eater 1 for "free", though!). So, I had to remove some stuff. I was hesitant about Va-11 Hall-A because it's been slightly cheaper on Steam before but it's the one I actually want to play the most out of the bunch, so fuck it. Not sure I'd have much to trade in return but if you check the Content Exchange thread I've a bunch of things listed (p.s for rest feel free to pipe up). But yeah mainly making sure on what TME responded with that you're not like locked into buying rest of the game per-episode cos that works out quite a bit more than as a lump. I do think it's a pretty neat format for selling the game mind, I know Fable 2/3 had a shot at doing it that way, but it's not quite the right kind of game to sell it that way. TheMightyEthan
Yeah, I actually think this game would be improved by playing it as the episodes come out, because then you'd be more likely to actually experiment and replay each level to find all the stuff instead of doing what I did and just play straight through all of them once. I definitely intend to get Season 2 as it comes out rather than waiting until the end.

Ah ok, yeah you can upgrade to the full game as you see fit. I bought the intro pack at launch and upgraded to the full thing just a few weeks ago. Anyway, sent you a PM. Not looking to trade or anything, just enjoy the game. Merry Christmas! Also got codes for Lightning Returns, Hitman GO, Tomb Raider Underworld and the Soul Reaver games if anyone's interested. Mister Jack
I thought about getting the PC versions of these games but... A) I had a gift card B) The PS4 versions specifically were on sale (at better prices than the steam sale) C) I probably won't want to keep these games forever anyway. I'll have my fun with them, then sell them for Resident Evil 7 or South Park
