SomTervo
As said in the other thread, I got Rise of the Tomb Raider for £6. On Windows 10 you can change your 'Region' settings and buy games at their prices in other countries (seems like Ukraine and India are among the cheapest). It's totally legal, but yeah, I feel dirty. The game seems really bloody good. I'll probably buy it further down the line on a Steam sale to ensure they get some money for it.
Thursday Next
Meh, don't feel dirty. Grey market is what it is. Pubs don't like it, but it is 100% legit and a million times better than pirating.
Mal
Same. I think this is the first Japanese port I've preordered since Steam refund so yeah, it's pretty nice to have that option in case the port is terrible... like Tales of Symphonia.
toxicitizen
in case the port is terrible... like Tales of Symphonia. Not to get off-topic again, but holy fucking lol, Durante fixed the Symphonia port in like 15mins. He's still tweaking stuff but he's already added arbitrary internal resolution support as well as downsampling support. I really wonder what the hell happened here. It seriously sounds like they didn't give a shit. I mean, they even got the name of a character wrong on one of the Steam badges...
toxicitizen
I've been looking forward to this one for quite a while. It was announced something like, what, two years ago? Anyway, pre-order is 20 bucks, which is about what I expected. Now to wait until next week...
TheMightyEthan
I've got my eye closely on that one. A little disappointed that they've said it won't support VR, because it seems perfect for it.
toxicitizen
I still haven't even finished Persona Q, so I have no idea when the hell I'll actually get around to playing it (hopefully before the sequel comes out in NA). But, I've been keeping an eye on the Amazon marketplace for it and yesterday a listing showed up for a brand new copy at the cheapest price I've seen yet. So, I just kinda jumped on it. Really glad I was able to get the LEs of both PQ and this for decent prices. They were pretty much the only two games I was willing to splurge on but not if the prices had been too insane.
Mr. GOH!
XCOM 2, of course.
TheMightyEthan
Amazon Prime's 20% off new games sure is making me a lot more prone to impulse buys. Though with some rewards points I had this one ended up only being $3.69 out of pocket.
TheFlyingGerbil
What do you get reward points for on Amazon? They seem to have miles more cool stuff over there, probably funded by the tax they don't pay our Government.

TheFlyingGerbil
Ah, I'll let them off then since it's not really an offer from the site
toxicitizen
The Witness left me hungry for more puzzle goodness, so I was already planning on getting it as soon as it went on sale somewhere. Didn't really expect it would happen so quickly, though!
TheMightyEthan
Probably timed specifically to capitalize on people who want more after the Witness.
toxicitizen
It's a Steam sale for the Chinese New Year or whatever, it's not just this game specifically that's discounted.
TheMightyEthan
Are you saying that you don't believe the Chinese calendar was designed millennia ago specifically to capitalize on this moment? Heretic!
MetalCaveman
Plus the Serious DLC (adds Serious Sam as narrator \m/ \m/). Been meaning to buy this one for a while, and I had enough trading card money to get it, so, why not! \m/ \m/
Baconrath
So far I've pre-ordered Disgaea and bought Transformers: Devastation on sale. And then one of my other Steam acquaintances gifted me Cave Story+ out of the blue ;
deanb
I'm tempted by Talos Principle, though figured it'll drop in price again in future, plenty of games to hold my interest at the moment.

TheMightyEthan
Ooh, thanks for reminding me, now I too have purchased Firewatch for the Playstation 4 Home Entertainment System Console.
TCP
You mean the "Playstation 4 Home Entertainment System Console of Dreams".
Popular Post Hot Heart
The fuck is wrong with you guys? You're supposed to capitalise the S in PlayStation. Show some respect.
TCP
I agree with you there, I was just copying and pasting Ethan's words. How about the forum name "Playstation" here? Terrible, just terrible. Nevermind that the logo for PXOD has a PlayStation in it which isn't an X at all, it's a "cross". Mister Jack
So what is Firewatch exactly? Is this another one of those games where you just walk around and look at shit for a few hours or is there actual gameplay to it? I liked Stanley Parable and all but I sure as hell didn't pay 20 bucks for it.
