toxicitizen
So what is Firewatch exactly? Is this another one of those games where you just walk around and look at shit for a few hours or is there actual gameplay to it? I liked Stanley Parable and all but I sure as hell didn't pay 20 bucks for it. Well, without knowing what your definition of "actual gameplay" is it's hard to say but yeah, you do more than just "walk around and look at shit". That being said, it's still a very laid back game, you're not going to be fighting anything or solving puzzles or whatever. It's basically Gone Home in the forest but with voiced dialogue and a more involved (and imho more interesting) story. You're not just walking around looking at notes or whatever, stuff is happening around you. Edited February 10, 2016 by FLD

TheFlyingGerbil
Was interested when it came out, but now it's half price bought it, though I'm back into splatoon powering up my splatfest tee so not sure when I'll actually play it. toxicitizen
Made a couple of last minute purchases right before the sale ended. It's the last one I was missing and I'd like to finally play through the series this year. Kinda wish they'd put the first one on Steam as well, but I think there's some legal issues preventing it, unfortunately. So, I'll probably have to fire up the PS1 version on my Vita and put up with the horrible load times... No reason other than Skylines is great and I've been meaning to go back to it for a little while. Also, I think the new expansion is coming out soon, so I didn't wanna end up falling too far behind in terms of content. Hot Heart
I have a problem. I've backed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles board game on Kickstarter (it looks amazing, and is from a renowned designer) and then figured, "With a Kickstarter due soon, and Scythe coming out the middle of this year, and having just managed to snag a copy of the classic Buffy game, I don't really need more games." ... then I bought Flick 'Em Up I've had my eye on this for a while and almost bought it over Christmas. A Wild West-themed dexterity game in which you build a town on your table and then move your little meeple gunslingers around, shooting at each other; all by flicking bits of wood. There are all sorts of scenarios included such as robbing a bank or rescuing someone from a hanging (as seen above) and then you can get things like dynamite and a more accurate rifle (gives you a cardboard guide for flicking the bullet piece). You even get into duels when you both enter a building (7:30 is my favourite bit of this review). Sounds like great fun that almost anyone can pick up (and flick) and enjoy. No more new games (for a while) startinggggg... now.
deanb
Housemate also picked this up, in quite a nice wooden box. I imagine I may get a spin with it today maybe.
Chewblaha
This game, with just ONE friend is so much fun. With anything more it gets better.
deanb
Not had a chance top play (or even unpack) it yet though. One of the games Hot Heart has recommended in the past.
TCP
Just finished Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Still a fantastic game, it holds up very well, and I think it's a much better game than most shooters released around that period. I'm onto Among Thieves for now but I'll probably hop back in to get some of the trophies I missed.
TheMightyEthan
I am a consumer whore. Though I was able to hold out until they announced what the DLC would actually be, and the one I'm most interested in is coming out in May so that's not too horrible. deanb
I picked this up using a GMG voucher to make it a tad cheaper.

toxicitizen
I was going to wait before double dipping, mostly because of the price, but turns out the bonus soundtrack is actually limited and won't be sold as DLC once the first week promo ends. So fuck it, it's not that far out of impulse range anyway. Not sure when I'll actually get around to playing it, though. I don't think I'm anywhere near done with my XCOM 2 campaign and there's also Disgaea coming out later this week. Plus, I should probably prioritize playing Ultra Despair Girls first since these games are so easy to spoil...
Mister Jack
Play this one first.
toxicitizen
Why? I already played the Vita version if you mean for story reasons. Ultra Despair Girls is the only one I haven't played yet. Edited February 21, 2016 by FLD

Mister Jack
I got a free Division code as a bonus for my new PC! That's good! But it's a code for uPlay...that's bad. But you can still launch it through steam! That's good! But the overlay won't work...that's bad. But it comes with a free hazmat suit! That's good! The hazmat suit is level D without an SCBA or polymeric nano fabrics. ...That's bad. Edited February 24, 2016 by Mister Jack
toxicitizen
Made a few purchases this week. Hitman GO is great but it keeps crashing on me. It's not been a major problem given how short the levels are but still. Might have to refund it if they don't patch it. :/ The AK season pass was on sale for 10 bucks on Bundle Stars so I figured why the hell not. I'll revisit the game eventually and when I do I'll likely want to play all the DLC. As for SUPERHOT, it's ridiculously overpriced so thank God for Nuuvem. Ended up costing me like 12 bucks. TheMightyEthan
I also got Hitman Go for the PS4/Vita. The 20% off deal was too good to pass up.
Popular Post Mister Jack
Steam sent me a 75% off coupon out of the blue so I got this for 5 bucks. It's the first time I've ever actually bothered to use one of those coupons. Usually they pass them out for total crap.

Mr. GOH!
I bought SUPERHOT and it is totally rad and worth the $20 I paid.
toxicitizen
Grabbed the Humble Bundle 16, which got me as well as other junk like Trine 3. Also got an 80% coupon for the Outlast DLC, so... It's a pretty great bundle overall. Outlast and Door Kickers alone would be worth the purchase if I didn't already own them.
