I'm quite looking forward to seeing a non-school life Harry Potter Universe, and I think in having an older world makes sense given most of the original children viewers n readers of Harry Potter will be approaching, or in, their 30's by now.

I assume it's going to be a franchise? I wonder at what point they try and tie it into the original series?

I finished The Cursed Child last night. It was worse than I possibly ever could have imagined.

It was a play.  Plays are meant to be watched, not read.

Yeah, apart from hoping to get some cash out of people that don't read the big gold banner across the top stating "pre-rehearsal draft script" I don't get why they've released this in book form. Gonna be people thinking it's a new book in the series, especially when it's stacked up in piles front of WHSmiths.

Bullshit! A script can be bad and this is a very bad script.

 

 

This is the rehearsal version but unless the play got radically altered, it's going to be bad, at least from the script/story/plot/dialog (though I understand the effects are suppose to be great on stage). There's a few lines that are VERY bad that they hopefully fixed but that still won't make it a good script.
