Mercurial
Are you seriously not getting the joke or am I missing something?
Waldorf and Statler
I'm sure he got it since I highlighted the part, though once he mentioned JGL I could see the resemblance in the hair and facial expression like in Looper.
Faiblesse Des Sens
I've never seen Looper.

Faiblesse Des Sens
I think plenty of white people look alike... but I'm definitely not seeing it.
TheMightyEthan
I don't think their actual faces look much alike, but their expressions are pretty similar.
Waldorf and Statler
expressions+skull shape+ hair. Point was I got the joke and didn't overanalyze it to the point it's not unfunny in the negative sense of the word. As it not unfunny in the "oh you!" sense. So thoughts on possible new projekts for CDP afterwards? I mean we're getting Cyberpunk and depending on how good that is they'll continue it but I believe a whole 'nother team will be free after the Witcher 3. Personally? I'd love to see them tackle a game set in the Malazan novels universe. It'd be going back to fantasy but it's a very Greek/Tolkien one at that and if anybody could make a mature RPG it'd be them. Also tits are minimal in the novels so ladies should appreciate that. Edited April 17, 2013 by Waldorf And Statler

Waldorf and Statler
Just to clarify these are Witcher 2. Also Triss <
Saturnine Tenshi
Malazan would be nice. Though if you go that route, there is a wealth of choices. They could even do Elric if they hadn't just finished at that time.

Faiblesse Des Sens
Hmm. That's Geralt showing a lot more morality than normal.
Waldorf and Statler
From what I recall in the novels, he was neutral mainly in big conflicts like choosing sides between factions. But when push came to shove he looked for any excuse to do the right thing. Like he said though, maybe his character is evolving from his usual neutral approach and now chooses evil men as "the evil he doesn't want to deal with". I liked the trailer. Showed his tough choice of having to not be neutral. But I think he forgets that being neutral can also be quite badass. Can't wait for this game. By far my most anticipated game of 2014. I mean between this and Dragon Age, not to mention some jrpgs and possibly the other title by CD Projekt, it'll be a good year for rpg fans.
Saturnine Tenshi
Unless something huge happens this is my 2014 game. CD Projekt RED just needs to stay on track with what they've been doing. I can only think of maybe one game that comes close.
danielpholt
Kinda feel sorry for those soldiers. They were probably being paid shit and ordered to go hang that witch. Still, that trailer looks badass.

TheMightyEthan
I think I'm going to start playing The Witcher 1, so are there any mods I should be using on a first playthrough? *Edit* - Enhanced Edition, of course. Edited December 8, 2013 by TheMightyEthan
Hot Heart
I don't think there are any mods you need, though I played with 'simple' combat because I just wanted to get through it (and it sucked, regardless). Problem I have is that I can't complete it because it crashes at the same bit every time, no matter what I do. Also, while I'm here, there was a new trailer from VGX but it didn't really show anything new besides some of the Wild Hunt designs and such. I think I'd rather not know so much about the game from now on.
Saturnine Tenshi
@Ethan: I really cannot think of any. I went through the game vanilla (EE). I will offer one important tip, but it's a spoiler for the first boss fight: The fire hound is going to kick your ass. I'd suggest using the Aard sign for the chance of an instant kill. @HH: Yeah, I've been avoiding watching too much media on the game (as I tend to do with games I know I'm going to buy). deanb
Oh god yeah I remember my first playthrough and The fire hound thing being a bit of a bitch, somewhat unexpected too. Also annoying that the witch can die (keep here alive btw, she heals you throughout) Oh btw you can carry your save through, it's not much, just a few nods throughout and neater starting gear. Waldorf and Statler
Witcher 1 is the weakest of the bunch in terms of.. everything really. But it's as RPG ans rpgs get. Witcher 2 was the attempt to streamline. I think for Witcher 1 they were using a Bioware engine, then they made their own for Witcher 2.
