Saturnine Tenshi
9,000 or so, yeah. The only really glaring connection is one side character, but that's it.
Mr. GOH!
All I know is that I want nothing to do with what sounds like the stupid but bonkers stories of the previous games.

CorgiShinobi
Given recent events, a.k.a. not finding a MM Link amiibo, I've begun picking up formerly elusive amiibo that are now more common. I don't collect for just the figure as I go for ones that serve a function in the games I play. Judge me as you see fit, for I have drank of the Splatoon cup, and it tastes FRESH! And alongside my Samus I imported Zero Suit Samus from Amazon Japan. At the time it was cheaper, but now it's marginally cheaper on Amazon US. If you're curious about Amazon Japan, my experience thus far is it's great. The Amazon Global shipping is EMS and customs are taken care of. It cost about $10 and ZSS will arrive on Monday. That's pretty dang fast, but a lot of people were ordering the new Zelda amiibo and getting them earlier this week. The easiest shopping experience is when Amazon Japan actually ships and sells the item. Third party sellers for the most part will not ship internationally. There's www.tenso.com/en/ that is a proxy address service where you can have third parties ship to your Tenso address, and then have Tenso ship to you. I haven't looked further into it yet, but if you're desperate and willing to spend more money to get something Japan exclusive or simply elusive, it seems to be well-praised online.

I've been adding stuff to my cart for the past two days like an idiot, knowing full well I won't be keeping half of it. Hopefully I'll outlast the sale and it'll be over before I get a chance to send it through!

That was delusional and I knew it. Managed to bring my cart down to ~30 bucks and said fuck it. Hopefully I won't be tempted to grab more, gotta save my money for Cold Steel! Last Door is the bundle for both seasons and I also got some DLC I was missing for the two most recent King's Bounty games because it was dirt cheap. I can honestly say I'm getting better at only grabbing stuff I actually want to play in the near future. I've so far managed to avoid buying stuff just because I want it in my library or games that I know are very likely to go on sale again before I ever get around to them. Mr. GOH!
Just bought a bunch of tabletop simulator dlc. Hope somebody wants to learn how to play Scythe with me sometime.

I already own TTS and have an actual copy of Scythe that I have played precisely 3 times.
TheMightyEthan
Do I have to buy TTS in order to play games with you guys?
Mr. GOH!
Yes. And some of the DLC requires all players to own it. I believe Scythe is one such game. Fortunately, the DLC is generally cheap and also usually gets big price cuts during Steam Sales.
deanb
I'd be tempted to grab if folks are up for it somepoint.
Hot Heart
If the store page is correct for Scythe, it says "Only the host needs to own this DLC" I'm up for playing this Saturday if that suits? I'm playing IRL board games on Friday, but can stay up late to match with US timezones. I can see if my friend who has it on Steam is up for it as well. EDIT: Well, I bought it anyway because it was £3.35 and increases the chances of at least two people being able to have a game. deanb
Xia is another "only host needs DLC" i'd be up for grabbing(ive gotten fair bit in trading cards this sale) . Though it's a 1-3hr game . Or Zombicide which is 60+ but given I imagine placing of zombies is removed thats 30 mins saved. I would suggest Cosmic Encounter too which I noticed GOH also has. I'm up for stuff this weekend afaik.
TheMightyEthan
How do mods work with TTS? I checked and the Firefly game has a mod but I don't think it has dlc, so like is it the honor system, you're just only supposed to use the mod if you own the game? Also, after Star Trek Bridge Crew this is the thing I most want a VR headset for.
toxicitizen
Alright, done for real this time. Sale ends tomorrow anyway. The temptation to grab the last Blackwell game led to me actually playing the first two and they're about as good as I expected. That ended up putting me in a point-and-click mood, so I got Kathy Rain as well because it looks pretty cool. Thimbleweed Park is the one that looks really great but it's still almost 20 bucks, so it's gonna have to wait. Not sure what to expect from Neon Struct. It sounds great on paper (first-person cyberpunk stealth game) and comparisons to Thief and Deus Ex make it sound like something I would definitely love but the borderline abstract visuals have always put me on the fence until now. Hopefully it has the mechanical depth to satisfy a stealth junkie like me. Oh and I also got the expansion DLC for Hand of Fate. The game turned out to be super fun, so I figured having more cards in the mix couldn't hurt.

It kind of surprised me to see official "ports" to Tabletop sim, and they're pretty dang reasonably priced in the grand scheme of things. I'm still totally down for grabbing Xia or Zombicide if anyone would want a go. Also I boughtTicket to Ride on Android. Which I believe means it's the American version which I have not played. Hot Heart
Someone's made the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game in the TTS workshop. Neat. I bought Rock Band 4 but pre-owned because I'm still not 100% sure it won't be a sort of "downgrade" from RB3 thanks to licensing issues, etc.
deanb
I've picked up Zombicide for TTS. I kinda prefer co-op games (also I've played it several times so kinda familiar with it compared to likes of Xia, which I've only done once though remember rather enjoying it)
Mr. GOH!
I can't play TTS this weekend, but I can carve out time the following weekend. Otherwise I'm available too late at night for anyone across the pond.
deanb
Half my siblings have birthdays this month so I can do this weekend or the last weekend of July. I'm possibly down for "too late at night", given I've not really got anywhere to be in mornings.
TheFlyingGerbil
I've had to content myself with the PSN sale as I don't PC game. I just started Dark Cloud today and enjoyed what I played enough to get the sequel while it was on offer.
