Mal
Out late November. It honestly makes sense on mobile because from what I remember of New Leaf, it practically played like one. Hopefully the times aren't insane... at least there's more Isabelle.
danielpholt
I'm all up for some more Animal Crossing. Obviously I'd prefer a Switch version (Sentiment of the year 2017) but I'll take what I can get. Lets be honest, if its anything like previous AC games, we'll play it like mad men for a weeks and then suddenly drop off it en-mass.
TheFlyingGerbil
It looks promising to me, in fact it almost looks too good in that it may make a full game redundant. Will be interesting how they step up the Switch game it make it worth paying for.
TheFlyingGerbil
I think I'm the only person here still playing this, and I will admit I was wrong that it is a replacement for a full game and I certainly hope Nintendo doesn't think it is. It does have a few nice features that I'd like to see in the main game. Friendship levels are cool and perhaps in the main game they could go down as well as up depending on how and if you interact with the characters and that could be linked to how likely they are to leave your village. Hopefully it will be updated more frequently by Nintendo too, not the game itself but the content, e.g. new events, characters craftables etc. The inventory is also better and I think that is the aspect of the main game most in need of an overhaul. The main thing it's done though is remind me how much I like Animal Crossing and they wouldn't need to do too much at all for me to jump all over a Switch version. I really hope it's being worked on. Mister Jack
I wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly what they intended with the mobile game. Building hype for a Switch release, I mean. They have a mobile Fire Emblem too and they still plan on making a Switch one, after all.
TheFlyingGerbil
Anyone still playing this? Add me if you are: There have been quite a few updates, with more to come and I'm enjoying playing daily still. Pruning my friend list means I now only have regular players and quite a few so I get a lot of help with events and can go to the quarry daily (which is also now much easier to ask for help with). Mister Jack
How did they fix asking for help with the quarry?
TheFlyingGerbil
When you click on the quarry your first ten friends are automatically selected, then you only tap one button to ask them all, so you can ask your entire friend list in a few taps. It's easy enough that I do it every morning before work and I'll have enough people help me by the time I get back. Before the change I only went to the quarry once, and I paid leaf tickets to do it. Now I go every day, for free.
