M&KB is a mess in no small part due to incorrect button prompts. They're showing Xbox 360/Xbone prompts. I had issues navigating menus, mouse (de)acceleration and some unrebindable keys (T, G and V) that control your camera in strange ways. I also swear there are delays in input as well. There's also crashes to be had. Those problems made it hard to get into the game and it doesn't help that there's so much talking. 30 second tutorials split up by long cutscenes. 40 minutes plays and I swear I only played for like 5-10 minutes and that's with cutscene skipping and quickly reading texts. And this should free up my money for say Ni no Kuni 2. Edited March 7, 2018 by Mal
Mister Jack
Out of all the PSVR games shown at e3 last year, this one intrigued me the most. It has pretty good word of mouth so I figured I might as well. I mean I bought the damn headset. It's a bit pricey for a VR game ($30), but I don't need Bloodborne or Ratchet and Clank anymore so I did a trade to bring it down to about 10 out of pocket. CorgiShinobi
I got Monster Hunter: World a few days ago. Mainly to take my mind off of my dog's passing, as I didn't feel I had the time to spend on such a game. I'm already 6 hours in. I'm having more of an engaging time than Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on the 3DS. That's thanks to the streamlining of a few mechanics and that to get some good gear doesn't require crazy grinding.
Mal
I broke in like ten minutes or less. My love for a game inspired even remotely by Redwall is too strong. Thing is, Ghost of a Tale is a stealth game so this will be interesting.
Hot Heart
Saw this for a decent price and jumped. Partly, because it shares some design elements with a game I'm working on; even though my version of the similar game mechanic was thought up independently and is a little deeper (this has a simple "combo" system with directional arrows and A+B buttons played on card symbols during combat = damage). Not sure how often I'll get to play it, though, since a) it's 4-player max and b) I can tell it will take a long time to play, even if it looks p fun and interesting. Oh, and the first edition has twenty-three cards with printing errors. At least you can contact the publisher who are already manufacturing and sending out replacements. deanb
Got Mirror's Edge Catalyst cos it's £4 in Amazon Easter sale. Also picked up Codenames last week too. 2
Hot Heart
Got this thanks to an eBay alert I'd set up and a last second bid. Literally, so on the cut-off that the app got confused telling me "Sorry, you missed out" and then "YOU'VE WON PAY NOW" This is the Kickstarter edition along with extra promos for only £10 more than the cheapest price for the standard edition anywhere else (and the previous owner has the cards all sleeved, too). Noice. Sounds like a pretty neat game that should work with higher player counts because you can do simultaneous turns (not tactically ideal but if it holds everyone's attention better...). Gorgeous artwork and a cool theme of creating and evolving species to take up different traits to survive, whether that's becoming an almighty carnivore or a herbivore who has horns and alarm calls for better defence, etc.
Mal
Port should be fine from the PC port reviews I've seen. I think the only worry is that this game might be too easy.
Popular Post Mr. GOH!
I blame parenthood and the ebay $250 deal. Going to get Zelda and Mario Odyssey after it arrives. Edit: Also got Surviving Mars, which is neat so far. Edited March 21, 2018 by Mr. GOH! 1 1
Zeo-Gold92
So, I was struck with the urge to wanna play some PS2 games so I ended up ordering Bully, well my copy is from Australia so it's titled Canis Canem Edit, I also ordered Gun. I played Gun years ago with my uncle when it was new. My uncle and I played it together. I hope it still holds up, as far as Bully though, it'll pretty much be my first playthrough, I did once rent the game one weekend but didn't get far in it. I'll hopefully be getting a glut of older games soon once a mate of mine sorts out his collection, here's hoping for mates rates ^_^.

TCP
Got a 20% off code on PSN. I've been itching for another RPG since I beat Persona 5 earlier this week.

TCP
This arrived today: Funnily enough I'm going to Montana this summer, Missoula which they talk about in the opening and doesn't sound far from here. Hopefully I don't run into any Christian extremists. I played the opening and liberated the first area, feels a lot like Far Cry, without crafting. I got real into Far Cry 4 and Primal (I believe I platinumed both) and I could feel this one starting to sink it's teeth into me, but I'll probably put it on the backburner for now until I get through Ni No Kuni 2. 2018 is the year of TCP playing games again. Last year I basically 100% Zelda twice until Mario Odyssey came out, the year before that I just played Pokemon. Nice to be back with console games again! CorgiShinobi
Batman: The Enemy Within It's all out now and on Steam it's 25% off so it only cost me $18.74. That's a free episode right there!

toxicitizen
Well, fuck me! Square-Enix actually patched this fucking thing. They didn't just add an option to turn off the sprite filtering, they changed the font to something closer to the original, added a gradient to the text boxes and even fixed the timing on the main menu logo animation! And they still have more planned, including a reworked UI. Color me surprised, they might actually give a shit here! 2
deanb
So I did a gamble when I saw some smaller games on Wish, and it kinda paid off with picking up One Night Ultimate Werewolf. Surprisingly the actual game arrived, just minus a glossy instruction manual and a sturdy box. I was expecting it to just not be One Night Werewolf at all given some other purchases didn't exactly match the images. They also have Catan, Coup n Resistance on there too and I'm tempted to bulk out my collection. On the board game front I did also pick up a cheap (£10) board game at The Works. Never heard of it before, but it's Asmodee so actually "branded" of sorts. Mainly got it cos hey these games tend to be like £40, and also I was with my mum and they had a selection of similar games I could kind of go "look, these are the kind of board games I play". https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/127096/metal-adventures 2
