TheFlyingGerbil
That's a good thing to do with a game you have recently purchased.
Zeo-Gold92
Of course! But there has been times where I'll put things on the back burner without even opening them.
TheMightyEthan
Yeah, I often buy new games only to immediately put them on the backlog because I'm already playing something else.
Mr. GOH!
I got God of War III Remastered and preordered the new God of War for PS4 after the reviews were so glowing last week. I played GOW1 and 2 a long time ago but never played much of 3 on PS3, so I thought I'd finish it before playing the new one. I think I'm about halfway through GOW3 now and it certainly is the third GOW game. It's a fun mythical murder spree, but I look forward to the new one mixing up the game design. In fact I recently sold a load of 360 games to a games shop that were still sealed.
Zeo-Gold92
Picked up God Of War (2018) I was going to wait a little bit before this one.
Mister Jack
I picked this up today and I'm about three or four hours in. This game is amazing.
Zeo-Gold92
I'm absolutely loving it, I only wish the standard box art was better.
TheFlyingGerbil
you can print this out and slip it in the case if you'd like. You're welcome.
toxicitizen
Well, there's a game I never expected to buy. Mostly because being forced to skip an installment has a way of making me lose interest in a series completely. I also always figured that these MMO-like loot games just weren't for me but over 150 hours later I'm still completely hooked on Warframe, so I was dead wrong on that one. So, I've been curious to try out some more of them. I was more interested in The Division tbh, but Humble Monthly tends to make things a little more tempting with the secret games potentially sweetening the pot.

TheMightyEthan
Rise of the Tomb Raider 20th Anniversary Edition is $20 in GMG's birthday sale.
Thursday Next
I liked Rise, but didn't love it. $20 is about right I think. It was very much more of the same from the reboot.
TheMightyEthan
Rage is $2.72 on Green Man Gaming after all the discounts, cheap enough for me to buy it based purely on curiosity. 1
Popular Post MetalCaveman
Got it as a gift for helping my aunt and grandparents with some issues they were having with their phones, tablets, tvs and other assorted electronics. 2
toxicitizen
I mostly got it to finally have a decent version of Tetris on Steam, although regular Tetris is weirdly hidden away. You have to go in the challenge modes, pick the Tetris Marathon mode and remove the 150 lines limit in the settings. The main game modes are all battle modes versus other players or AI opponents. Haven't tried the one that mixes both games yet but so far my experience playing Puyo Puyo for the first time went a bit like this: First game: This is stupidly easy... *watches video tutorials* Second game, trying some of the advanced strategies from the tutorial: This is ridiculously hard!
Mister Jack
@FLD This game is on steam now?!
toxicitizen
@Mister Jack Yeah, they released it out of nowhere like 2 months ago. I think it flew a bit under the radar because it wasn't exactly the game most people were asking SEGA to port.
Mister Jack
Boom. Finally got a good Tetris game on the pc.
deanb
So I got the Fanatical Bundle thing, mainly for Technomancer and Signal from Tolva. Also saw a deal on Amazon for Overwatch n since I had some credit I now own that too.
Mal
There's a bundle out there that has some Chinese/Taiwanese games included which I bit. I was mainly aiming for The Gate of Firmament, a CRPG. But I also got the following... Chinese Paladin:Sword and Fairy 6, a turn-based RPG. Think line battle. Empire of Angels IV, a turn-based strategy games that kind of reminds me of... Fire Emblem but cuter. End of Chinese games. Think Harvest Moon but probably not as polished as say Stardew Valley. SHUMP Ugh... Not too sure what I am looking at. Almost reminds me of 100% Orange Juice. Umm... this is lewd action shooter of sorts in the vein of Gundam Versus. You blow clothing off. Old school JRPG I guess with branching stories and stuff? JRPG Most if not all may be junk but I'll see. I'm for sure interested in the Chinese games to see what kind of things do they bring to the table. Mister Jack
I've had an EA boycott going on for years now but I saw this for like 8 bucks on clearance so what the hell.
TheMightyEthan
Got a bunch of stuff from Humble Monthly, but the ones I'm especially excited about are: and Also bought the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass since it wasn't part of the monthly (didn't expect it to be, but I waited just in case)
Mal
Oh what the hell. I may not have been blown away but I do love the OST and like the more mature setting. Perhaps it might be the JRPG people been waiting for... we'll see.
