My only main issue with it so far is it has Jack Whitehall cast in a rather prominent role, and afailk we've heard nothing about Them. Otherwise it's looking great, and nice that Amazon are throwing a chunk of money at the project. As always there's a great Pratchett quote Quote "The difference between me and Neil in our attitude to movie projects is that he doesn't believe they're going to happen until he's sitting in his seat eating popcorn, and I don't believe they're going to happen." Pratchett was at his seat with popcorn Watched the first episode so far, it's looking good and having McDormand as God helps with some of the many footnotes of Pratchett (though a couple lines so far missing). I like how they've modernised it too (considering I think the book is 30 years old at this point so mobile phones and being 'present' at birth over skype not really a thing). John Hamm as Gabriel is a new addition too, only mentioned in the books, but Hamm is really a great choice as a sort of menacing benevolence. Only initial complaints are this is my first time using Amazon video and it's a bit shit quality and the settings are vague "good, better, best" shit rather than actual "480/720/1080/4K" stuff.
