TheMightyEthan
I would pay $20 for the game and $10 for the DLC.
Mister Jack
I don't think any Nintendo game, even Zelda, should still cost 60 bucks a year after release. Especially not a port. It's bullshit. You can get God of War and Spider Man for 40 bucks right now. Nintendo has absolutely no excuse.
TheFlyingGerbil
They don't need an excuse, they have a reason: people keep buying them at full price. Other publishers don't reduce the prices out of the goodness of their hearts, they do it because people stop buying the game at the price they're selling it. CorgiShinobi
Aside from the above, the Switch's first-party titles go on sale far more often than the past generations' titles. It's not the same as a lowered MSRB, but it's better than waiting for the inevitable Player's Choice Nintendo Selects run.
TCP
Bought this on the Switch on sale via the eStore. I liked the first well enough and this seems to be more of the same.
MetalCaveman
Pre-ordered the digital deluxe edition on PS4, wanted to get the physical edition, but it seems like the only way to get the Altera costume is to buy this version so...

deanb
Far Cry New Dawn on sale on Ubisoft for not much more than through key sites (in fact maybe less). 50% off in the Spring Sale + 20% off with their Ubi Coins thing (I really do like them. I know folks shit on uPlay but the achievements giving currency to buy DLC with, and get actual tangiable cash discounts too, is quite nice). Set it away downloading last night so hopefully get in a bit of play after work. Should scratch the "shoot shit in a not too stressful environment" itch. Which tbh Slime Rancher has been doing quite well so far.
TheMightyEthan
Halo Wars 2 - Awakening the Nightmare. Started playing the free mini-campaign and it reminded me how much I love this game.
deanb
Made use of the £5-off Amazon thing.
MetalCaveman
For $2 at Walmart, found a pile of games with huge discounts, most of them did not interest me, but then I found this one, not sure if it's as good as the Cyber Sleuth series but for that price it's worth a look.

TheMightyEthan
Oh man, that looks like something I would have absolutely loved on my Genesis.
Mister Jack
The original TJ&E is by far one of my favorite co-op games of all time. This one added online play, boosted the maximum player count to 4, and added a bunch of new characters so it was pretty much inevitable that I was going to buy it. I'm pretty much an expert at the original so I beat this on my first run in about an hour or so, but having a bunch of new modifiers to unlock for future playthroughs gives me plenty of reason to keep going back over and over. Mal
A total impulse purchase but golly, is it good as is. Just need more polish and junk.
Mister Jack
I'm still on the fence about this game so I got a used copy just in case it doesn't gel with me. We'll see what happens.
toxicitizen
Kinda half-forgot it was coming but this finally releasing on PC means this should be the last time I buy these games. Hopefully this will also be the time I finally finish them all. IIRC, I played all the way to the third one on NDS but never finished it and only ever played the first one on the 3DS version, so I never even touched Apollo Justice and the other sequels.
Mister Jack
So this is kind of a weird one. I hated Demon's Souls. In fact, I still hate Demon's Souls and I imagine I will always hate Demon's Souls so I never played this for more than a few hours before I got annoyed with it. However, I enjoyed Bloodborne and I really liked Sekiro, so I'm going to give this game one more chance, mainly because I got it dirt cheap. People keep saying Sekiro is the hardest game From has made and I got gud enough to get through three playthroughs so maybe I can manage this one now.
Mal
I have no self control... but as a diehard EDF fan, I had to even though I had a feeling I would have some issues with this one. It is for sure better than Insect Armageddon and that was not a bad game. At its core, Iron Rain is a slower paced (to me) and more deliberate EDF. There is a pretty good chance that you will get your ass kicked at certain missions. I'll probably do a more detailed review once I beat the game. That reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask. I got one of the EDF games from Humble monthly a little while back. As someone that's uh... not exactly a fan of spiders, should I even bother? TheMightyEthan
I just stumbled across the fact that Battlefront II has a singleplayer campaign, and it happens to be on sale on Origin right now for $4.49, so guess what I'm playing this weekend!
