deanb
I picked up Uncharted 1, 2, 3, 4 in the Amazon spring sale. 1, 2, 3 came yesterday. Gotta wait on neighbour and I'll get Uncharted 4. Figure I'll go through them in the Easter break and I can dedicate full time on them. Just gotta decide on between either going in order or jumping right into 4. TheFlyingGerbil
Definitely in order. It's not like 4 is just out and you want to play it along with other people. Plus I think people have implied the earlier ones don't hold up that well so going back would be hard. I'd just blast through them on easy so you're mostly playing for the story and experience not the challenge.
toxicitizen
It's not coming out for another month or so but there was a decent deal over on Fanatical, so what the hell. I have to say, I'm really happy with how quickly we're getting these. Normally I'd say space them out a bit more but I just can't get enough of this series. I mean, I'm glad that the Atelier series is on PC but it feels like I played Sophie not that long ago and there's already like 7 fucking games to catch up on lol. But with Yakuza I'm ready to jump into the next one like five mins after finishing the campaign. 16 hours ago, Urist Malster Chief said: Shoot at your fears. See it driven before you. I second this, especially with the earlier ones. It becomes less of a problem later on (I didn't really think it was much of a problem in 4 at all), but in the first ones there are some really massive, stupid difficulty spikes. Well, I think it's fine but then again I touch spiders. Anyhow, for EDF 4.1 (what you likely have), the spiders looks like so: They're the same in EDF 5. They are a bit different in IA and IR. I personally think jumping spiders are cute. Orb weavers are a bit icky for sure but looks cool. In game though, you shoot these guys with prejudice. toxicitizen
You know, when someone says they're arachnophobic posting a big-ass picture of one generally isn't a super cool thing to do... Video game spiders usually don't bother me that much but I figured the EDF ones might have a more realistic look and yeah... think EDF is gonna be a hard pass for me. Mal
Sorry dude. Fixed. I would've made them smaller but the function isn't there anymore (or better yet, spoiler them which is there)?
Mister Jack
I'm still on the fence about DS2 so I decided to go with this. Usually I feel compelled to play all the games in a series in order, but I don't understand this plot in the first place so idgaf this time. 1
TheMightyEthan
AC Unity is free on the uPlay store for the next week or so, in honor of the Notre Dame fire.
Mister Jack
Well since I'm going through all these From games recently I might as well do Bloodborne again. I played through it once before, but I didn't have the DLC back then so I'm gonna play it fresh. I'm generally better at these games now too, so I think I won't flounder about as much as I did the first time I played it.
MetalCaveman
Got it as a gift for helping my aunt and grandmother with a bunch of stuff, including moving their things to their new place. "Looks like something you would like so I got it for you." Don't know much about the game but from what I've seen it does look kinda cool. TheMightyEthan
I'm not interested in buying that game, but I'd totally take it as a gift.

Mal
For the Switch. I've been waiting for this for a while! I heard good things but I always thought it would be perfect for the Switch, so I'll be finding out soon enough. I swear, if this game starts up and doesn't have something like this, I'll be mad!

deanb
Ordered it just on Monday as one of those "dirt cheap but you'll get it when you get it" type things, expecting for like the end of the month. Arrived today, barely a day over if it was full price on prime. A pleasant surprise. Last thing I got on the "dirt cheap but delayed delivery" thing was a Marvel book I ordered...I think in February or something and only got last week.
TheMightyEthan
I keep coming this close to buying it for my wife, cause she loved the first one, but it's never been quite cheap enough.
TheMightyEthan
Hades (early access) by Supergiant is $7 on the Epic store right now as part of their summer sale. First game I've bought from that store.
TheMightyEthan
Apparently today is the day for me to add to my backlog. Surviving Mars: Green Planet just came out, and I don't have the previous expansion either, and the season pass is on sale right now so... *Edit - I just realized it's actually cheaper to buy the First Colony Edition, even though it includes the base game which I already own. Refund request away! *Edit 2 - Refund approved, so now I've bought the First Colony Edition instead!
TheMightyEthan
My streak continues! Guacamelee 2 was on sale on the Switch eShop, so here we are.

TheMightyEthan
Observation, the second game I've actually paid for on the Epic Store. Been described as 2001: A Space Odyssey where you're HAL.

TheFlyingGerbil
I didn't realise there was a dragon quest builders 2. Still need to play the first one I've had sat about since it launched on PS4. Yono just appeared when I went to reply so I guess I didn't post about buying that. THere was a big Sale on the eShop so I bought a few point and clicks and this which is a Zelda-lite sort of thing as far as I can tell. TheMightyEthan
Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. My wife loved the first one, and I've never gotten around to playing it, but apparently this is fairly standalone so I thought I could start here, and she'll have a good sequel to play.
