My time at Portia

Hello people, this is my first thread here, so hello

 

I'm currently watching a lot of videos about the aforementioned game and I really feel like buying it. I wish there were a lot more games that just focused on living a life, hanging about, crafting a bit, etc. There's just something idyllic about it.

 

So with that said I am curious what you guys think about this charming little game.

What do you think about the choice of Bachelor(ettes)?

Do you miss the farming expect that can be found in similar games?

Do you also think the character models (especially the faces) look a bit odd? Or is that part of the charm? (I think it's a bit of both)

 

Finally, are there similar games you really enjoy?

 

Please give me your thoughts, but please beware of what other people might consider a spoiler, okey?

I honestly hadn't heard of it until now. From my very brief research, it looks like a Harvest Moon type game. Is that accurate?

 

I like the style.

It is. It's just that instead of running a farm, you run a workshop. There's some minor farming involved, but that's mainly just to get ingredients so that you can craft something else.

 

From what I've seen there's also a bit of a plot to the game, and it has some pretty decent combat mechanics.

 

If you like Harvest Moon, then it is most certainly worth it to give this a try.
