TheMightyEthan
So, I have amassed quite a backlog this year. Now, however, I have several weeks off from school during Christmas break. This thread will chronicle my attempts to make progress through my backlog. The games I intend to tackle are, in alphabetical order: PC Batman: Arkham Asylum Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Blacklight: Tango Down Borderlands Darwinia Defense Grid: The Awakening Deus Ex Deus Ex: Invisible War Dirt 2 Fallout: New Vegas (one more playthrough) Left 4 Dead Left 4 Dead 2 Metro 2033 Mount and Blade: Warband RUSH Shadowrun STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl STALKER: Call of Pripyat Star Wars: Empire at War Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Starcraft 2 Supreme Commander 2 Tropico 3 Tropico 3: Absolute Power Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising The Witcher X3: Reunion X3: The Terran Conflict PS3 3D Dot Game Heroes Aliens vs. Predator Valkyria Chronicles Xbox 360 Dragon Age: Origins DLC Dragon Age: Origins: Awakening Enslaved Greed Corp Just Cause 2 Mass Effect 1&2 (more playthroughs) Shadow Complex Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Sonic and Knuckles Splosion Man Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition Tales of Vesperia Worms 2: Armageddon Now, I have no illusions that I'm going to get through all of these, but this is the full list of games I would like to make progress on, and so gives me a good way to gauge my progress. I will update this list as I progress, crossing off games that I finish. *Edit* - To clarify (not that anyone probably cares): marking off a game does not mean I'm done with it forever, just that I feel that I've played it sufficiently to take it out of the "to play" pile. So for games with a campaign, it means I've either completed the campaign or decided I don't like it enough to justify completing the campaign. For stuff like Dirt it just means I've played it enough to not feel like I wasted my money buying it. Currently: Tropico 3.

TheMightyEthan
The only addition I anticipate is Rock Band 3 (360), which because of its nature doesn't really count toward a backlog.
B.Linus
You may never see daylight.
Bouchart
I want to get through Vagrant Story, Donkey Kong Country 1 and Donkey Kong Country 3 before starting anything else. I've been meaning to play through Megaman X4, X5, and X6, and Tomba again. I've already beaten them but it's been a while.
deanb
Ethan you should do what I did and have a completion blog thing. Just give closure to the games and do a write up of impressions of it n such. Just a weekly round up of how far you've gone. Also a big pictur at the start of the games stacked helps to visually compare between how much you've beaten.
TheMightyEthan
Added Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to my PC backlog. Also, I hope your backlog increases during christmas. I hate you.

slithy toves
i have a huge backlog as well. it fully goes back into the ps1 days. i don't like to write about it, because it makes me sad. on a lighter note, there will always be awesome games for me to play when i have free time i guess. c hoertjes
If anything, my backlog will increase.
TheForgetfulBrain
My backlog is even longer than yours, Ethan, but I'm far too lazy to post the whole thing. And I'm about to add to it big time with these Steam sales... shit. I got a Gamefly sub though, solely with the intention of plowing through linear console games and actually finishing them. Still need to finish Dante's Inferno... god, that game sucks.
Bouchart
This is the reason I rarely buy games.

docsfox
Dragon Age alone will take longer than your break man. Not to mention both Mass Effects? It just won't happen man!
brida
naw ME's are both shorter you can speedrun through both in the time it takes to speedrun through just DA i think
staySICK
For the most part I'm thinking the same as brida with my backlog. But I'm going to try and work on it when I go on vacation for two weeks. Although this will be after the kid is born, so I probably won't have as much time as you'd think in two weeks.
