docsfox
naw ME's are both shorter you can speedrun through both in the time it takes to speedrun through just DA i think I don't consider speed running a game as the same thing as actually playing a game. brida
he's played them (ME) both already. he doesn't need to savor every moment again, unless he wants to--i was just speaking toward the whole idea of getting through the backlog. Mister Jack
I don't think you're supposed to put games you've already played on a backlog...
TheForgetfulBrain
I haven't checked this thread in a while. Has Ethan finished failing yet? In a while? Your years are like days to us, aren't they.
Mister Jack
It's kinda like being Dr. Manhattan, only with less clothing.
TheMightyEthan
Finished Enslaved. Decent game, glad I didn't pay full price though. And the stuff I've already played through, like ME, is low-priority. I just put it on here cause I was outlining what I would finish in an ideal world. Like I said in the OP, I know I'm not going to get through even close to all of these. And Dragon Age DLC + Awakening is not going to take the whole break. I played through all of Origins like 3 times last Christmas.
Pheermee
I have 3 games I really want to complete right now. Resonance of Fate Castlevania Lords of Shadow Star Ocean (International)
TheMightyEthan
Added The Witcher. Thanks Dean.
Akuam4n
I have 3 games I really want to complete right now. Resonance of Fate Castlevania Lords of Shadow Star Ocean (International) The new Castlevania is quite nice. To me is was harder than GOWIII, and I wanted to crush my controller a time or two. Much longer than GOWIII too. Have fun. Star Ocean was horrid. I should most likely go finish up The Witcher too. -.-

toxicitizen
Ha, my backlog is just too large for me to give myself a timeframe to get through it. My goal is a more achievable one for the christmas break: finish games I've started recently but for some reason never finished. Those would be: Metro 2033 Bayonetta GTA: EFLC Red Faction: Guerilla (started this last summer, probably gonna have to start over...) And of course I wouldn't have such an insane backlog if I didn't constantly do stupid shit like starting new games when I've already got so many to finish. For example, I started playing Darksiders and Just Cause 2 this week. And then there's the steam christmas sale. I don't even want to think of the effect it will have on my backlog. I bought stuff last year that I haven't gotten around to even installing yet...
Hot Heart
Finished Enslaved. Decent game, glad I didn't pay full price though. Heh. My thoughts exactly.

TheMightyEthan
Eye for an eye. Haha, are we in a Steam gifting war now? Don't make me gift you Civ V. *Edit* - Also, Dirt 2 is freaking gorgeous. PC truly is God's platform.

deanb
Since my last visit my dad now has two Hd tvs. And a "play room" where one of those lives. I may finish rdr. Depending how often my dad wants on gt5 prologue.
TheMightyEthan
Marked off Batman: Arkham Asylum. It was pretty good, though I thought it was too linear and that the boss fights were too repetitive. Hopefully they will address both of those things in Arkham City. superfrogsavestokyo
You're a brave soul, Ethan. I tend to pretend that I don't have a backlog, but there are only a couple of games that I want to finish before the New Year: Epic Mickey, P3P, Fallout 3, and ME 2. Hopefully I'll be able to finish a couple of more before LBP 2.
TheMightyEthan
Marked off Darwinia, because eh.
TheMightyEthan
Marked off Aliens vs. Predator. Again, eh. Probably doesn't help that I made the mistake of getting it on the PS3 though.
