Kinda like Cold Steel III. Basically never fucking trust PR. It's why I'm so annoyed they're dropping the 7 for the western release and trying to pass it off as a reboot. It's really not. These days I just kinda know what I'm interested in. So either I'll buy the game regardless of review scores or I'll take a quick glance at metacritic and opencritic to know if I want to wait for a sale. The only downside is that it makes such good use of the DualSense that all the other games will seem like letdowns in comparison. I now try to never get more than two at a time at the absolute most unless there's a limited time sale or the game is something that will be going out of print before long. Of course, RIGHT after I post this, there's a Steam sale and I notice that MS and EA somehow never got the memo that discounts aren't supposed to be this good anymore. Seriously, can't remember the last time I've seen something like Gears 5 go that low just a year after launch.
