TheMightyEthan
I'm not going to bother with pictures right now since those are borked, but I bought a PSVR, Playstation Camera, 2 Move controllers, and a charging base from my brother-in-law's friend. Now I have to wait for the PS5 adapter to get here. (Though I can still use it on my PC for some fairly limited stuff.) *Edit - Pictures are working again 1
TheMightyEthan
After I got my PSVR I went a little crazy... Astro Bot Rescue Mission and PSVR Worlds are kind of obvious, then I got the Order 1886 because I've been mildly curious about it for a while and Gamestop was doing buy-2-get-1-free so I figured what the hell, might as well get something for free. This is the adapter to use the Playstation Camera with the PS5 so I can actually use my PSVR on there. The guy I bought the PSVR from had already used the serial number to request the adapter from Sony, and the last communication he's received about it was on December 8th telling him they'd let him know when it shipped. Googling reveals lots of people aren't getting theirs, and I didn't want to wait, so I broke down and ordered one from a scalper on eBay. Finally, MGSV just because I've had my eye on it for a while and it was like $3 in the PSN sale. 1
deanb
I got this, it was £23 so figured I'd bite the bullet. Not sure when I'll get around to actually playing it given I'm currently in CP2077 1 hour ago, TheMightyEthan said: This is the adapter to use the Playstation Camera with the PS5 so I can actually use my PSVR on there. Mine is just sat in my PSVR case (incidentally the Amazon Basics PSVR case is nice if you want to store the PSVR or for taking around to others houses). I can't remember how long between me ordering it and receiving it - wasn't like a regular order so no tracking. Just one day had a person at the door with a delivery.
TheMightyEthan
Way too much.
Mister Jack
I had always been wanting to try this since my VR headset needs more games but the price kept me away. PS store is having a winter sale though and this is a little over 20 bucks right now, which is just about where I needed it to be.
TheMightyEthan
I don't think I could handle a VR zombie game...
TheMightyEthan
I've been wishing I had some colored controllers, but I already have two and that's all I need so I know I'm not going to buy colored ones if they ever come out. Well lo and behold, Decor Evolve has face plates for $10, with 10% off if you buy two, and the colors are great!
Mister Jack
Now that I can use my PS VR without getting motion sickness or tearing it off of my head out of sheer discomfort I wanted more shit to play on it. Between this, Astro Bot, Walking Dead, Resident Evil VII, and Moss I think I've got all the big PSVR games at the moment except for Beat Saber and Star Wars: Squadrons, which are still a little pricey for my taste. Man, I hope we get Half-Life: Alyx on PSVR at some point because I refuse to buy an Oculus after they decided to implement a shitty Facebook requirement. TheMightyEthan
I have renewed my pledge to not buy any game unless I want to play it right now. I have gone a little overboard recently...
Mister Jack
Oh look what just happened to go on sale right after I said it cost too much. Unless Beat Saber goes on sale soon I think I'm done buying PSVR games for a while. I think at this point I own all the other must-have VR games. Hitman III is supposed to have a VR mode but I'm going to hold off on that one and maybe wait for a price drop since I was never that into the series to begin with. 1
MetalCaveman
I may or may not be about to repeat last year's list, this time with the Resident Evil series.
TheMightyEthan
The purple is a little bit paler than what I was expecting, but it's growing on me, and overall I'm really happy with how they came out.

TheMightyEthan
The purple did grow on me over the last couple weeks, but I'm much happier with my new Mirror's Edge DualSense. Related: I'm also extremely happy with my new phone's camera.

toxicitizen
Viking survival game with an emphasis on boss fights that just launched in early access and has been kind of blowing up. I was about to suggest it to my friends for our co-op gaming nights and it turned out one of them had already bought it so it was an easy pitch lol.
Mister Jack
Fuck yeah, I finally did it! I finally got through! It was probably because it was a bundle that was more expensive. To be honest I don't need the Ultimate Spider-Man Edition and I'm probably just gonna sell that and maybe the extra controller on eBay to pay myself back a little, but it doesn't matter. I got you, you son of a bitch!
MetalCaveman
Now that I got confirmation email and tracking number, I can safely say that this monster has been acquired. After hunting for months, signing up for notifications that never arrived, or arrived too late, and avoiding scalpers and scalper-bait (people selling pictures of a card, not the card itself), DDTech finally had a couple in stock, without thinking twice I nabbed this one, I believe the other one was an EVGA FTW3. Super low stock, only 2 of each, and by the time I had bought this one, the others were gone. Got worried that it might not have gone through properly, or that bots had been faster, but today I got confirmation that it's on its way. \m/ \m/ Would've preferred (and it would have made more sense) a 3080, but hey, after saving for 10+ years for a PC upgrade, and given the current situation, I didn't want to miss this and end up waiting several months again. DDTech is also one of the few stores actually respecting MSRP (Mexican MSRP... MMSRP? ) there's PCEL who are selling a couple of 3080s for $4500 (yes, that's dollars) each, TodoCheap which had a 3090 for $4000 and DECME who had MSRP but their stock banished in seconds. So yeah, that was fun. Now to hopefully to NOT do this again 10 years from now. Also hoping that there are no issues with shipping, I know things are taking longer than usual, no problem with that, just hope that it arrives safely.
TheMightyEthan
Moss, for PSVR. After I finished Paper Beast the other day I played around in the creative mode a little, which lets you zoom out to where it looks like a little diorama. That really reminded me of the Moss demo, so I checked PSN and conveniently it was 60% off, the biggest sale it's ever had, so I bought it.
Mister Jack
Moss is short but I really liked it. For an early PSVR game I think it's one of the best ones in that first year or so. I heard they added some free DLC a while back so maybe I should replay that sometime. As for what I've bought recently... I scoffed at this game when it came out but they've really gone above and beyond (no pun intended) to make it worth playing since the disastrous launch. The VR mode is what finally pushed me to get it since I got a friend who also plays it in VR and exploring planets with him sounds like a fun time. Mister Jack
"But didn't you hate Demon's Souls?" Yeah, I hated the PS3 one when I beat it, but since then I have beaten Dark Souls 1, 2, and 3 while also managing to platinum Bloodborne, Sekiro, and both Nioh games. My skill level is definitely higher than where it was and, more importantly, I hear the remake adds some very much needed quality of life improvements that make it much less frustrating to play so I'm willing to give Demon's Souls one more chance. I bought it used so if I still hate it I can always take it back. 1
Thursday Next
I bounced off it on PS3. *glares at Flame Lurker* Platinumed it on PS5. You. Got. Dis.
TheMightyEthan
That keeps catching my eye, but I have bounced off 3 different soulslikes, so I'm not buying another one until I at least finish one of the others. I got Bloodborne through the PS+ collection, and since its combat is faster than any of the DS's I think that's probably the most likely one to stick with me. I played a few hours and quit, but that wasn't so much because I didn't like it as because Death Stranding kept calling me back to get the platinum on that. I'm also holding out slim hope they'll release a 4k60 patch for it, because damn does 1080p with no AA look rough.
Mister Jack
I'd bet they're more likely to do a Bloodborne remake. It will cost $70 and damn it, I'm gonna buy it anyway.
