Do you mean strongest as in physically strongest, or best character?

As far as powers go as strength depends on whether Hulk gives Thor a hard time or not.

Today there was a clip from the movie uploaded where Tony Stark is going toe-to-toe with Thor and it rustled the fanboys' jimmies. I mean, I'll agree that the Iron Man suit probably shouldn't have withstood a hit from Mjolnir, but you can't help but get giddy when these characters get together and have a tussle. Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark is my favorite!

So Iv'e now seen Avengers Assemble (I saw it many hours ago but we got back n watched Megamind, which is also good)

Right this bit is the "spoiler-free" thing:

Film was pretty fucking sweet. Joss Whedon writes a pretty swanky screenplay, some great lines and moments in the film and the flow and pacing is pretty damn great. I'd say the only issue is you don't much care for Loki and his army of..I forget their name. Ruffalo as Edward Nortons replacement was great. Really pulls of the whole "I'm a nerdy scientist that could explode into a green thing at anytime" rather well. I think Norton's Banner was a bit too scaredy-cat and "oh I don't want to hurt you :(" style. But Ruffalo's is "I don't want to hurt folks, but when I'm the hulk, I enjoy it" kinda style. Works much better for the Avengers film.

For managing several high powered actors, and also getting away with making a film that spends a fair chunk poking fun at itself, Whedon has done pretty damn well. He could have cocked up, big style. But Avengers was definitely worth the wait, look forward to post-Avengers films in the series now they can kinda cross over a bit more, maybe bring in other folks.

p.s there's post-credit stuff. (Well..mid-credits. There's a fancy cast bit panning the suits with names, then the snippet, then it goes to the scrolling black boring credits)

This is the "I'm going to respond to a comment a couple posts above" bit(Atomsks):

And this bit is the "When mere mortals have now seen it and we can chat plot elements" spoiler bit:

Also damn they have a lot of clips from the film in their account. You could go into the film knowing a fair chunk of the plot. Just not much specific along the good lines I guess.

Cams are always less popular than direct film copies. If someone would rather watch a cam that wait a week to see it in the theater then odds are they were going to pirate it anyway, regardless of release date.

Though I will say that I saw a cam of The Simpsons movie that was so good I thought it had been made with one of those film-digitizer machines until someone stood up in the middle of the movie.

The Avengers.

Amazing. That is how you make a blockbuster film. Never saw Iron Man 2, and I actually really liked the Black Widow stuff. Although her 'motivation', stated when talking to Hawkeye was a bit odd and sort of out of nowhere. Then again, I don't really know much about the character.

And, considering all the characters, I wasn't expecting Thor to have the funniest line and delivery.
