Mal
I just found this so... yeah. The space on the bottom is for my taskbar for when I need it.
Cyber Rat
Why would you use the most awful UI in the world as your desktop? OT: new monitor, new desktop. ZE COLOURS Edited January 27, 2012 by Cyber Rat

Mal
Guys. Something is wrong. I'm using a horrid wallpaper (Yes, there is another problem but lets not get into that...). Its a screen capture of another dude's desktop crying out loud but I love like it so much. I should re-use Rainmeter to make another theme. Faiblesse Des Sens
My work setup currently: Rotating wallpapers on each monitor. I flip the left side down for gaming. But man it's really nice to use websites and my work stuff with a vertical monitor. Oh and I put the taskbar on the bottom in this mode because it feels too far away on the top and horizontal space becomes a premium when the monitor is vertical. Mal
I really should look into a vertical monitor setup. It would work great for reading papers.
Luftwaffles
Has vertical monitor for productivity when coding (I assume), keeps IRC open all the time.
Faiblesse Des Sens
I don't code. I do open a lot of tabs. Here's today's catastrophic issue. I don't think 3 letters showing on the tab breaks my NDA.
TheFlyingGerbil
What's everyone's phone home screen like? I have a plan in my head to change the wallpaper at the start of each month but that rarely happens.
deanb
Mine is fairly unchanging, though other pages cycle between latest apps n games. Bunch of apps are hiding others behind swipes.

TheMightyEthan
Yes, because that's the only screen on the phone.
Faiblesse Des Sens
Just saiyan that if your homescreens amount to nothing more than a bunch of icons then you bought the wrong phone. Widgets are not at all a new concept. I mean shit even iOS has them at this point.

Eleven
I'm repurposing this old useless thread! Although feel free to move because I swear we had a thread before for what I'm about to post... I need a computer desk (top)! I'd like one of those L-shaped ones, which can go in a corner of my apt. What I really want are those L-shaped ones but are rounded, like this one: ... although I don't really need the cabinets and keyboard trays. They can usually be found in office cubicles, and they're usually height adjustable too! I just think it'd be more awesome for a two-monitor setup. I'm open to other options though. Just really want to look for suggestions. What does your computer table look like?
deanb
I'm not at home atm so can't post photo, but just to advise that Ikea have a huge range of desks for all sizes, purposes n budgets. Personally I'm on a big long desk with three monitors on it, with set of drawers attached. Does me fine. Can't change regardless as it's a rented accommodation.
