Lemmiwinks
View from a B&B we stayed at for last Oktoberfest. The background rotates between a few pics we have from there.
Jack
You should check R's posting history. I don't think he much cares for OSX either. Does anyone truly care for OSX?
Battra92
You should check R's posting history. I don't think he much cares for OSX either. But I'm running Ubuntu Linux. It just has a dock app that looks like OSX.
deanb
Woops. I should of enlarged it My bad. Not paying too close attention. Silly tutorial videos. Also reminds me I've not re-installed Object Dock since I stuck on Win 7 fresh.

TheMightyEthan
I certainly don't. It just looks so cluttered. I tend to use my computer desktop the same way I use my actual desk's top: temporary storage for things that I'm using. So like if I'm extracting an install file from an RAR, I'll extract it to the desktop, run it, then delete it (keeping the original RAR). Or I'll create new desktop folders for files I'm only going to be using temporarily (like images I'm going to be using in photoshop), then delete the folders when I'm done. The only thing that stays on my desktop permanently is the recycle bin.
R__
Honestly, I could show you a screenshot but it's nothing special. I use FreeBSD with Xfce and a few terminals open. I have a picture of a beach to remind me that winter will be over one day. Not too exciting. It's what's going on underneath that's exciting... Pirandello
I notice Melty Blood and an RO private server on there. You also have Cosplay Fetish Academy on there (along with Cat Girl Alliance). Rawr. Say, how's the Champions Online going? My Behemoth is level 32 and in Lemuria (deep-sea area) at the moment. Faiblesse Des Sens
Still don't like folks making use of the desktop huh? I use it as a virtual folder of sorts. Otherwise it looks ugly and cluttered.

I play strictly casually. I have a life-sub from the day the game launched but I still haven't hit level cap (burned out on it pretty casually). I'll probably grind my way to 40 this summer though with all the changes they've implemented. Also, you've been awarded 30 ZTFunBucks! Spend them at any of our convenient giftshops! Wow, early life sub? I've actually been contemplating about a subscription (or a life sub, but it's $300 which is quite costly as a bulk sum at the moment). Mostly, I want to unlock all the costume options and get full reign to the freeform skill tree. I really want to make a Power Armor character. I got the life sub immediately after coming into an egregious amount of money. I don't regret it, but I also don't really exploit it all that much. PA is a lot of fun, probably the best Power Set available in my opinion simply because you have so many tactical options. Although it isn't "H", I was surprised to see Ragnarok Online on there. What's wrong with RO?
Pirandello
Although it isn't "H", I was surprised to see Ragnarok Online on there. What's wrong with RO? It's a game with a very esoteric fanbase. Having played it myself for 4 years now, I think of it as much. And the art style makes it a gold mine for rule 34 stuff. McBeeferton
I normally do not change my taskbar color to anything but black, but I decided to be a little more extravagant this month... ...also blue reminds me of Toyger. Battra92
And yes, I hide all my desktop icons at work. I think it makes my workspace easier to deal with. Oh and the Ubuntu Logo for the Start button is thanks to a theme I applied to get the brown "human" theme for Windows. I think it looks a lot cleaner, although I'd prefer to have a Linux machine on my desk instead. Edited April 4, 2011 by Battra92
