I made 'iLjaG' up when I was 12, and just started multiplayer gaming in Starcraft.

At the time, the whole raNdOm CapiTaL leTTerZ thing was cool. Also, it was an acronym.

i

Love

jesus

and

God

I was quite the born-again evangelical. I changed my moniker a few years after I decided I no longer believed in a higher power and became Agnostic.

My full screen name is berober04, but I shorten it to berober occasionally. It came from being my username at high school actually:

be is the first two letters of my first name, Ben

rober is the first five letters of my surname, Rober...

04 is the year I started High School, 2004

And so came berober(04)

In high-school, my friend started calling himself "the fork" for whatever retarded reason. I called myself knife, because our other friend who was fat was obviously spoon. The only reason we kept it going is.because it pissed spoon off so much that he was prone to hilarious outbursts of rage. Eventually I just kept it and made it sound like a real last name.

Hahahahaha wow, no way any screen name origin story can ever top Yarfunkle's. That was classic.

Mine is simple. When I registered my first email address, I used for screen name a reference to something I was a fan of at the time.

Over the years I stopped being a fan of it and eventually got really sick of the name. The solution? Disemvowelling.

FLD is that same name but without the vowels.

At one point I also came up with Toxicitizen (which is a play on the System of a Down song/album title "Toxicity") when creating a new primary email address, but I only use it for game related stuff like Steam or PSN now. It's literally never taken, which makes me feel both original and creative. :tophat:

LittlePirate's been my handle for years. Based on a funny story. I had to do a school project about my family tree, so I visited my grandmother to do some history digging. We found a copy of hanging records of one of our ancestors. He was a crew member of Black Beard and was hung for piracy.

Oh God (pun?) Yarf, that may be the best thing ever. And I actually believe in God and all the bizz...

Gyaruson is the phonetic pronunciation of the word "boy" in Japanese, I think. So, if you're ever in Japan and you need to identify a small child, yell my username at him. He'll get the gist of it.

God I hope there's no one on these boards who speaks Japanese and is all like, "Dude, that means vagina," because I have no way to verify my findings.
