Mister Jack
LittlePirate's been my handle for years. Based on a funny story. I had to do a school project about my family tree, so I visited my grandmother to do some history digging. We found a copy of hanging records of one of our ancestors. He was a crew member of Black Beard and was hung for piracy. Â Is that true?! That is awesome!

slatz_grobnik
There was a journalist and newspaper columnist by the name of Mike Royko. In most of his columns he wrote commentary or reported on a topic, but he also created a cast of characters to use as foils or to have someone speaking from a certain perspective. His most famous was Slats Grobnik, who remains Chicago's version of Everyman. I took it up in the spirit of his writing and our city, but merely using the same name seemed wrong somehow, so I changed a letter, more or less writing an extension of the mythos. staySICK
back in high school I used AOL, and would post on some of their message boards. One of the regulars in the punk music board had the sig similar to   Flash forward to about 5/6 years ago, I'm setting XBL to play halo 2 online. A lot of my friends were using FPS / halo - centric gamertags. Me, being the forward thinker I am at times, thought "hey, I'm not going to be playing just shooters online." and set about trying to think of a tag. I don't know why, but moniKa's sig popped in my mind. I really don't know what prompted me to do the staySICK format, but I did. It was really funny, especially after the 360 launched and LIVE really picked up steam, because you'd be playing Burnout or other games and see people with halo 2 - centric gamertags.  This is the longest and furthest reaching any online handle I've had has gone.  this also kind of explains the avatar.   yea, pretty lame, huh. But it reminds me of one of the most positive things about those years, I made some p good friends during then, some of which I still talk to and have on my fb friends.  been toying with changing it to "Number 13,666" in reference to a song, but its a pretty negative connotation.    13, because its probably my favorite number, and 666 for the zip code of my town (666XX). superfrogsavestokyo
My first username superfrogsavestokyo is a short story by Haruki Murakami. I think it came from the collection After the Quake . It was a somewhat depressing story and decided to make a new one.... Â Then I decided to get one from another short story by Murakami. This one Sharpie_Cakes came from the story "The Rise and Fall of Sharpie Cakes". Runners up included Dabchick, Shinagawa Monkey, and Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman. Â I can't remember a time where I generated my own username.

Hot Heart
I kinda explained this on the old forum, but now I have music to accompany it! (Because I am a saddo and uploaded it myself) Â My username came from when I was choosing a gamertag a few years back. I didn't want anything I'd have to use numbers in and I wanted something simple and identifiable. Â ...so I took it from a Rocket From The Crypt song. A kickass RFTC song. BrainHurtBoy...2
I was highly intoxicated many years ago when I made my original Xbox Live account's original name, which was where my current one originated. I have no god damn idea why I did it, and honestly can't even recall that week, let alone that night, but I at first hated it. I changed it immediately and continued on with my life, and eventually dumped the Xbox until many years later, I got reminded of it and decided to rebrand myself, as my newest moniker was the awful 'CrunkInThisClub'. So I grabbed the name, and picked up the 2, which I also have the intention of putting :Electric Boogaloo afterward, but this plan always falls through for one reason or another. Mal
MaliciousH comes from a username I based off a like of a friend. MaliciousHammy. Hammy being a hamster. After some stuff here and there, it became MaliciousH. And no... I'm not THAT malicious... Â I also go under the username Vinitachi. Vin from my name and Itachi... go read Naruto. Cyber Rat
My brother watched "Hackers" and decided for a brief period of his life (about a week) that he wanted to be a hacker. His name was "Cyber Rat". When I couldn't think of a name for Counter-Strike, I went with Cyber Rat 101, then ditched the 101 some time ago. Â I don't even like rats. TheMightyEthan
My name is Ian, but a surprising amount of the time people think it's "Ethan". As a result my friends in highschool started just calling me Ethan. Then when I was making my XBL tag I combined Ethan with that song, "The Mighty Quinn" to get TheMightyEthan. Â Prior to that I was often Enchilada! because that's what a cheat-code for Cel Damage renamed my old Xbox's network name to.
