Mal
Steam calc. Judging by how much I got hurt this week... I would get struck by lightning if I spent that much.
ADIRTYWINDOW
$78.54 That is so minuscule compared to the rest of you guys. Also, the steam calculator is funking out on me. It says I've been a member since the 1st of January,1970. And, it post zero dollar value with no games.

Thorgi Duke of Frisbee
I feel slightly ashamed by the amount of money I have spent on Steam. I feel even worse knowing that I will probably spend more before the year is through.

deanb
http://store.steampowered.com/mobile Requires you to be part of a closed beta (which from asking around it seems no one knows how you can put your name down to be in the beta which is a bit silly, but Valve have always sucked at press releases n shit like that)
Yantelope V2
Total value, $845. Total actually spent: $362. I'm actually a little surprised that I've spent that much. (forgot about the retail purchase of Supreme Comamnder 2) (edit 2: it didn't count the $60 I put into Half Life 2 back before launch). deanb
http://forums.steamgames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=28770251 just linking this. Also seems they realised people were confused on how you get in on the beta (they never really mentioned that part so well) cos it's now in bright blue n bold. peteer01
Gah. I was watching Steam and a fwe other places pretty regularly hoping to see New Vegas or Skyrim go on sale, and then I got too busy to game or even web surf at all, and that was when Skyrim dropped to $39.99. Does anyone know of a way to get e-mail or mobile updates when a specific game or a game on your wish list goes on sale? That'd be a nice thing to have. Any suggestions? (I'm looking for something automated so that even when I'm too busy with work, family and life to use the PC over a weekend, I won't miss out.) Saturnine Tenshi
Gamersgate does it.
peteer01
Gamersgate does it. Rats. They probably do, but they don't carry either game... How do places like that work? (I've only used Steam to purchase digital only PC games so far) Are you only able to download and redownload the game through the specific site you buy it from? Saturnine Tenshi
Some games on Gamersgate/Green Man Gaming/Get Games register on Steam. The others are downloaded through their client or directly to your hard drive.
