Mister Jack
So does anyone here own the Move? Played any games on it? Casual games made for it? Maybe more "core" games with Move options available? Any Move or Move-enabled games coming out you're interested in? Anything related to Sony's foray into motion control goes here. D-K
I have the Move, I'll be buying Kung Fu Live in the very near future.
Mister Jack
Does Kung Fu Live use the move itself or just the camera?
D-K
just the camera. You are the controller!
Mister Jack
Wow, using the Move with a dualshock is not recommended. It's so awkward. I mean it's nice they don't force us to buy the nav controller, but....who are we kidding, we need the nav controller.
D-K
I know, which is why I bought a navi too. I haven't had a use for it though, I only have the sports champions game.
Heartless
I'm interested in playing some core games with Move...but not interested enough to buy it. Would like to give it a try, though. Sent from Sheepshead Bay.
Mister Jack
It is kinda pricey. I got mine as a gift, though.
rainetemplar
I got the Move and so far I have only tried out the demos. I have Heavy Rain, but moving around without the nav controller isn't really doable...
Mister Jack
Is it weird to say the Move game I'm looking forward to the most right now is the Stranger's Wrath remake?
staySICK
I wouldn't mine having one someday, I'm thinking Sony will put more core title support behind it in the future.
Mister Jack
All currently known Move compatible games.
rainetemplar
I was going to give Resident Evil: Gold Edition a shot, but haven't really heard good things about it.. Also, who here has Peggle? That's something I'd be interested in too, the demo was actually quite fun (and sometimes equally frustrating). Mister Jack
What's wrong with RE: Gold? Is it just people hating on RE5 in general or is it related to the controls?
staySICK
I wasn't meaning that move support tacked onto existing games, I meant future releases with the move in mind that are for the core audience. the support list out the gate is impressive though. Mister Jack
Yeah, I wasn't trying to be sarcastic or anything, I was just putting it up there for anyone who wanted to see it.
staySICK
I want to try that sorcery game when it comes out though.
rainetemplar
Well from what I've heard the Move works pretty well, but it's just RE5 in general. I think I'll just leave the Move be until LBP2 comes out.
Mister Jack
Fair enough. I mean I asked for mine as a Christmas gift for the sake of not having to pay for it myself, even if the good stuff is still a little while away. rainetemplar
Haha yeah.. I bought it like two weeks after it came out, just to satisfy my curiosity.
Mister Jack
I plan on trying it out with Stranger's Wrath, Killzone 3, and inFamous 2 either way, so it's not like it was a wasted gift.
Mister Jack
It's nice that it's a little more than just a minigame collection. I'm not expecting game of the year of course but it's a nice touch. Thoughts?
TheForgetfulBrain
I kind of want the move, but I don't want to spend the money on it. I'll get it eventually, likely, but after it comes down a bit in price on a sale.
toxicitizen
I bought one yesterday. I had wanted one since launch but wasn't really in a hurry to get one. But I was buying Dead Space 2 yesterday and felt that I needed one to properly experience Dead Space: Extraction. So far I've tried a few of the Sports Champions games, Killzone 3 and some demos. Killzone 3 is pretty cool. It gives an edge in aiming but I'm having troubles turning efficiently. That will take some getting used to. Sports Champions: I am loving the hell out of the ping pong game. Makes me wish for a full-blown ping pong game on par with regular sports game (i.e. not a minigame). Other than that I tried the demos for Eyepet and The Shoot. The Shoot was fun, but I definitely wouldn't pay 40 bucks for it. $20 tops, so I'll keep an eye out for a price drop. Eyepet was... the most retarded and pointless thing I've ever experienced. It was nice getting to try an augmented reality title, but I am definitely not in the target audience here. Also, at first I felt a bit like a sucker for wanting a navigation controller, but after playing Killzone 3, the one-handed dualshock thing really doesn't work for me. Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way. Also, that huge gun thing accessory that was on Kotaku looks sweet. No way I'd pay 40 bucks for it, but I still want one. toxicitizen
Oh and forgot to ask: did any of you get a second Move controller? If so, did you feel it was worth it? I'm not planning on getting a second one any time soon, but I might look into it down the line if it seems to be worth the investment.
