excel_excel
Ohhh the Castlevania main theme! I'm partial to the Konami Krazy Racers version myself B)
Battra92
I would just like to point out that liking the music does not equal liking the game. Haters gonna hate and people will just believe the AVGN on this one without playing the game. Yeah you needed Nintendo Power or a guide to beat it but the story was awesome and the platforming was great. I'd love to see a remake of it on some handheld in the future. Also, beating Simon's Quest was the most satisfying NES ending ever.
Cyber Rat
I played through Simon's Quest two years ago as part of my Castlevania series review for a magazine. It aged badly compared to any other Castlevania game and is virtually unplayable without a guide, which is a minus as big as the Golden Gate bridge. I think you're letting nostalgia get the better of you.

fuchikoma
I don't know if I like this one or if it's just burned into my brain through sheer repetition. Ninja Crusaders is actually pretty fun. Then, most NES games starting with "ninja" are pretty fun!
Masonvrocks
No Gameboy love in here? I never had a NES, little young to have had one, but there's so many good chiptunes on the gameboy. The first level of Super Mario Land is one of my favorite pieces. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_-HvB3zbC4 The intro to this little known GBC F1 game is also awesome.
