Mister Jack
A lot of games give you reasons to go back after beating them. Unlockables, alternate endings or storylines, multiplayer...This thread isn't for those. This thread honors the games with no multi, no new endings, no new content whatsoever after you beat them, and yet you keep going back anyway simply because they're fun to play over and over. Name your favorites here.
c hoertjes
Mass Effect, I think, would qualify.
Bouchart
Probably Sid Meier's Pirates. I go back to that game every once in a while even though it's only about 10 minutes worth of minigames.
Mister Jack
Oh man I used to play Pirates all the time. That and Simant.
RadiantViper
I replayed Borderlands way too many times. It does have co-op, but I didn't play it much. Past that, it's pretty damn reptitive, but I have two level 61s (which translated to 4 playthroughs). Mass Effect, I think, would qualify. 3 fairly different classes and tons of different dialogue options and choices ... ME has lots of replay value IMO. Mister Jack
I played the old Splatterhouse trilogy over and over too, despite the fact that only the third one had multiple endings.
Bouchart
Also, Doom and Doom 2. I never played multi. Edited December 27, 2010 by Bouchart

I don't know, seems like most people I talk to only played through it once.

Little Pirate
I will play my old platformers over and over. I think I've played Conker to death. Same with Crash Bandicoot and Spyro.

When I was a kid, I must've played Super Mario Bros 1, 2, 3, and Super Mario World, dozens of times each. Kinda miss getting so much mileage out of a game. Yantelope
Really just old games for the nostalgia factor. I can't think of any current games that I keep playing. My attention span is just so dang short I have trouble just finishing the games that I like.
D-K
Jazz Jackrabbit I replay every now and then. That and a lot of snes games on an emu, I'll be buying the console shortly. Oh and SSB on N64, it's like the only Nintendo IP I can't go without playing once in a while. Actually, that's not true, I love a lot of Nintendo IP's, which makes me hate Nintendo even more for making it impossible for me to play them. TheMightyEthan
Legend of Zelda: OoT Legend of Zelda: TP I know they *have* collectibles and things, but I never really went out of my way to try to find them.

CorgiShinobi
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I've played it more times than I can remember... I think the last number I can remember is 13. Anyway, while you can go ahead and backtrack for Gold Skulltula Tokens, the real reward (Piece of Heart) only requires 50 tokens. That amount is simple enough to do in a quick run. I mean, getting all 100 earns you Rupees. Sure it's a high amount, but Rupees aren't that big a deal. Hot Heart
I think it has some sort of inherent replay value, but I do love Rock Band 3.
Commander Shepard
Bubble Bobble Sounds to me like someone hasn't beaten the game to get the true ending. Also, for my contribution, Uplink from Introversion. Can't help but replay it once a year.
